It's very Stella; there might be some elements of Celine, but the Stella vibe is stronger.

Simple, chic and straightforward; just what a Pre-Fall Collection should be!

I agree with Cosy on how her 'warm-up' collections surpass her ready-to-wear shows by a mileage.

Although this is much more interesting than what she last presented in October, I feel like it's still lacks a bit of solidness.. the strongest part is only towards the end, with the dark/red tailored pieces.. the shoulder emphasis and palette in the first two posts feel both dated and ill-fitted, even stores like H&M, Topshop and F21 have played with all these elements with surprisingly better-looking results.. the last part should've been her departure point for something more interesting imo.

Also, considering her clientele, I wonder who could possibly want a camel coat when this hits stores?, we aren't even in the middle of winter and they already feel so.. overexposed.

I love every piece in post #4, and the color scheme is lovely! I do like some of the pieces in the first and second post but i think some of the coats are ill-fitting. I like oversized, but i feel that camel trench in post #2 looks a bit ridiculous. But overall I think it's a very successful collection.

this is why i love stella mccartney. one can so clearly parse out the biographical details of her life from the collections she presents at the time. this collection (and much of her last) so vividly show right where she is right now.....which is pregnant. but like so many monied and trend-conscious women, she's not willing to give up her fashion edge just because she's carrying her fourth child. so we have these gorgeous -- and timely -- voluminous silhouettes that would work for ANY woman. with a great belt, they'd make the skinniest woman look chic and worn as styled here would forgive any figure.
