^ I wish you had posted the entire editorial, that way you could see how much she stands out from all the other ladies. This seems like an incredible issue for Vogue China; very well put together
+ I love her solo editorial by Solve Sundsbo. she's an incredible poser.....I only wish is wasn't just a simple studio shoot
Lots of fabulous new work for Tao. The Lindbergh pics are superb, but the real stunner here is that one pic by Roversi for Mihara Yasuhiro......whcih is just totally fascinating in it's pure simplicity. Love the setting, the messy look of the clothes and her pose. Beautiful pic.
I agree on what's been said about Tao's Mihara Yasuhiro advertisement. In fact, it's so wholly inspiring I got an idea for a graphic novel from it! You'll see
Wow, so impressed by her Vogue China editorials, Tao shines even in a simple studio shoot and I just love how all the models compliment one another in the Black on Black ed!!! Also, loving her solo shots for JCrew Thanks for posting!!!
I must say that I don't really like that hairstyle on tao for kenneth cole. but that could just be because they slicked it back instead of parting it on a side. but the concept for the campaign is interesting nonetheless
btw, kenneth cole has been pushing that whole texting relationship (or new technological relationship) thing for a couple of seasons. I don't get it or think that it works in any way.
visually the campaign video is done well, but the concept is stupid. i like tao & like her with both short & long length hair. ben hill & her seem like a bit of an off-match though.
I don't care for the 'text message culture content', or whatever you want to call it, in Kenneth Cole ad. All I care for is that the video is very stylish. Tao looks smart, as does Ben, and I have absolutely no qualms over why the guy couldn't be interested in this girl, that is to say, the models work well together, act fine, and complement each other in the given circumstance. As an artist, I find the lightning and the settings working well towards the visual concept. All in all, a winner. I already saw the video a while ago in Tao's own blog and have liked it ever since. Too bad it's not seen in Finnish TV in any channel so that I could record it...
It's in Japanese so use online translator like the one Google provides or Babelfish (http://babelfish.yahoo.com/) to make sense of it. Online transators aren't always so smart though so they can leave some up for interpretation though.
