Tatler October 2020 : Jenna Coleman by Claire Rothstein

Nice to see Jenna score a big cover, she's very underrated on magazine covers. It looks very dated in a way, could be the shade of pink and that fading font.

'How to social climb during the pandemic' Priorities!:rofl::rofl:

I love Jenna, awesome to see her scoring a big cover as well, but it's not my favourite picture of hers.

I miss Terry Richardson. He did these style of shoots so well.

...and then he fondled the models and coerced them into shooting porny images once the photoshoot wrapped up. I certainly don't miss him.
Interestingly enough Claire Rothstein's work is 99% of all times a very blatant copy of his glossy, point-and-shoot style. Tatler regularly commissions her.

Dated but there's a strong sense of glamour and confidence going on in the cover shot, so I am immediately smitten and instantly sold. This is far more up my street, as opposed to Jenna's cover of British Harper's Bazaar for April 2019.

Editorials are very Vogue Paris. Wow!

Boring, super boring, Jenna's boring, boring editorials, NEXT!

I have to question, because the curiosity is killing me... why Tatler doesn’t use the same photographers as Vanity Fair, GQ or Vogue?

Not too keen on the cover but I love both editorials. Those earrings on the cover look cheap

Uptown Downtown really reminds me of old American Vogue by Meisel, the first two shots especially. The art direction/font is nearly identical to me to that of 2000s US Vogue.

It's likely because Sophie Pera used to be Anna's assistant in the mid 2000s, and from the outset Tatler under Dennen has been styled as a sort of mash-up between US Vogue and British Vogue.

I like that they use their own photographers, the likes of Luc Braquet and Louie Banks. At least their work help set the magazine apart from Town & Country and it's ilk. Can't say I'm a fan of the cover editorial. It doesn't hit the mark for me at all, but it's very Tatler.
