i don't find it a big deal either. when i was her age, i was smoking for probably two years already..

No its definitely drug dealing, well at least thats what i got from the first episode he was in where she went with him when he was dealing and text him later saying it was fun and they should do it again, plus he hands her something in the end of the last episode and she says she wants to go alone this time. I really don't see them making Little J a prostitute, thats a bit extreme, even for gossip girl

In the US it's not illegal to smoke cigarettes under the age of 18 it is however illegal to purchase cigarettes if you're under 18. Though there is a stigma about smoking at such a young age.

i guess it's more a big deal for her to be seen doing it as she's in the public eye and has a young fanbase, so it's not seen to be setting a good example

yeah i live in the uk so i couldn't watch it either!

i think i've seen one photo of her smoking before, i definitely saw the video you're taking about too
