actually i'm not big fan of this taylor. but at least back then, she used to be very sweet and she wasn't trying to hard to be a rocker...

i don' t think she is trying to be a rocker. it's just what her personality is at the moment. when i first looked in this thread, i could not believe it was the same girl from page 1. if you ask me, she looked awful back in the day and looked like a typical annoying girl. she has more of an edge. that's how all the young girls dress in nyc.

i much prefer taylor now. before she looked like very other little hollywood star. i'm glad she's going to in a more unique style. i can't say she's not trying too hard, i don't know what she's doing, but to say she's trying hard to look like a model? that's doubtful. if anything she's trying hard to fit in with the "rock/punk" kids imo. she's in new york city, where they all live. jeez.

I'm not a big fan of her old look but she did it a lot better and it was more natural. It seemed more suited to her. Her new look makes me cringe, it's so contrived and try-hard. But, like said, she is only 15... Trying too hard to fit in can be expected.

Agreed, there is a lot of dislike throughout this thread, but I think she looks better now than before... Maybe she needs to grow into her look a little, but everyone has to start somewhere.
