I just realized who Taylor reminds me of.

Avril Lavigne. Circa "Complicated" days.

- same "edgy" style of dressing (Avril vs. Britney/Xtina = Taylor vs. Disney girls --> not that the style of clothes is the same, but it's opposite to what their peers were dressed like)
- same "I'm so mature, I'm independent, I've got the world figured out" attitude
- same "I write my own music, these are my thoughts and dreams" artistic mentality
- same "I'm rock and roll, I'm so real, I'm not manufactured" opinion
- same heavy eye makeup
- both signed record deals at 15 and consequently hung out with adults rather than people their own age

Avril got over her ties and hardcore phase. Now she's a blonde and wears pink hoodies. I have a feeling this phase of Taylor's, too, shall pass...

Anyway, I really like her collection of motorcycle leather jackets. She probably has like a dozen.

I don't really like her style now, looking back at the 1st photo in this thread I think she looks much better, but I guess with the style of music she sings (which I think is good!) then it would be a bit odd, but I'm sure she could change her hair or something. She acts a bit too much like she is trying to be something she isn't. that's how it looks to me anyway!
