I would say I feel sorry for her, she only has Gossip Girl fans and honestly, as soon as this show ends - bye bye little miss independent and hello "I-want-a-real-career" girl. I really like GG, but this is too much.

Unfortunately, I think she is a very good little actress and a very good looking girl who could probably parlay her GG role into spokesmodel work, fashion television commentary and so on...but her personality is so bad at this point I can't really see how she can have much of a future beyond the abused girlfriend in an R-Rated direct to DVD movie sort of career...

Taylor Momsen struck back at haters who say she doesn't care about the crisis in Haiti

Jan 24, 2010 - The Gossip Girl star managed to repulse millions of people in one fell swoop with a self-absorbed response to the earthquake in Haiti that has left thousands dead and countless more injured, homeless and hungry, without adequate water or medical care.

When asked what she planned to do to help, Momsen replied, "Um, right now I'm trying to just finish my record and get through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that. But it's awesome that everyone is, you know, working towards a good cause."

The mind boggles.

After incurring the wrath of the interwebs, the teen took to her Twitter with a thoughtful intelligent response to clear the air -- except she's no Einstein, so her plan rather backfired.

Momsen wrote, "I might not gonna attend the Haiti fundraising events, but that doesn't mean I'm not helping the victims! some ppl are just too stupid."

Indeed, darlings, some people are just too stupid...like the author of that Tweet, for example.

she has the potential to have a career after gg is over, but with that attitude people aren't going to be keen to work with her, so she's only hurting herself!
blake or leighton for example always come across as being sweet, down to earth girls and they are much more likeable, therefore people will want to see more of them
taylor will probably be the next mischa barton!

Yeah, but you know- do any of these young celebs have management people to direct them? As for people saying she'll be the next Mischa, I'd rather say she's gonna be the next Lindsay Lohan: reasonably talented, but doomed to be a complete trainwreck.
Along with Miley, Taylor is one of the teenage celebrities who I suspect to make a major turn for the worse as soon as they turn 18!
