Taylor Momsen

^ There has to be some sort of 'reasoning' behind her constant girl of the street image building...I can't imaging what it could be though...

Oh dear!
Cheer up, bb! You're rich and famous, no need to look all frumpy and zoned out.:flower:

From OK! Magazine...
Please note she is not like Lindsay since she doesn't go out...she also mentions repeatedly she is 16...You shouldn't (can't, even) go out like Lindsay at that age..unless you're Ali Lohan...)

Taylor Momsen: I’m No Lindsay Lohan!
Taylor Momsenhas accomplished a lot in her 16 years. The Gossip Girl starlet is in her third season playing Jenny Humphrey in the hit CW series. In a recent interview with a teen mag, Taylor dishes on her “angsty” side, why she feels people do not take her seriously and a fact many may not know about her.
“I think people don’t really take me seriously because I’m 16. And they think most 16-year-olds don’t know what they want to do,” Taylor says in the upcoming issue ofSeventeen magazine. “But I actually really do, because I’ve been thinking about it since I was 2.”
Taylor continues that the acting world is driven by the stigma of needing fame.
“It’s so stupid. Unless you do something great and unless you do something that’s fulfilling to you, what’s the point?”
What fun fact may you not know about Taylor? She loves to work.
“I’m a workaholic, and no one believes it,” she says. “I’m in the recording studio until three in the morning. I get such a rap for being like Lindsay Lohan — and I hate naming names because she’s really sweet — and I’m really not. I don’t go out. I have no desire to be some tabloid party girl. I’m entirely a loner. I have been my entire life.”
As for being described as angsty, Taylor agrees with the label.
“I’ll be angsty until I’m 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you’re figuring s*** out, and I don’t know why that’s a negative thing.”

I think it's quite funny that she's pretending to be so much more mature than other 16 year olds on the one hand, whereas on the other hand, she's referring to her age, when it comes to more serious issues.
Either she is more mature (what I doubt btw) and takes on responsibility for her actions or she's not.
I think there's a good reason why people don't take her seriously, but it's not her age. It's because of what she's saying :innocent:

just because she's not a tabloid girl doesn't mean she won't end up like lindsay

she could try changing her expression for photoshoots once in a while :innocent:
and i agree with you strawberry, her arrogance and disgusting attitude are the reasons people don't her seriously!

Can someone PLEASE get her some pants? I mean doesnt she make enough money that she can afford a pair? At least 1 pair?! lol

because it's really cold in nyc? and i bet her legs would look nice in pants the same way as they do in skirts

She looks gorgeous in that last photoshoot.

Had no idea she had such an attitude though! :)

she really needs to fix her hair, how do they let her have it like that in GG, it's horrible

Ugh- here is exactly the sort of press young actresses don't need, especially from E! Online, which is pretty influential....Maybe she thinks punk rock is on it's way back?

Taylor Momsen, the charming 16-year-old creature from Gossip Girl (who resembles a young Courtney Love trying way too hard), has really been on a streak lately with the quotes.
A week ago when OK! asked if she was donating to Haiti, she responded with this gem: "Um, right now I'm trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that."
And now in a nice little "Meet Taylor Momsen" article in Britain’s Times Online, T.Mom just can't get over how cool she is, a sentiment that is best expressed with F-bombs.
She kicks things off with her feelings on being a role model.
"To be honest, I don't f---ing care. I didn't get into this to be a role model. So I'm sorry if I'm influencing your kids in a way that you don't like, but I can't be responsible for their actions. I don't care."
Fun trivia fact about Taylor, she was in the final three choices for Hannah Montana back when she was all cute like Cindy Lou Who. We all know that part went to our other favorite role model, but don't worry, there are no hard feelings, Taylor was too cool for it anyway.
"Honestly, if I'd have ended up as Hannah Montana, I don't know if the show would have gone as well," she laughs. "I probably would have told them all to go f--- themselves by the time I hit 11. And I don't know how that would have gone down. It's great for Miley, but I really like where I am right now and I feel really fortunate to be able to really be myself."
Also of note, Taylor "exclusively hangs out with people older than her" and gets to wear so much cool, expensive designer fashion. As the Times puts it, "Totally emancipated teen with the coolest life ever, or what?"
We're going to have to go with the "what" option there, not that Taylor effing cares.
