I'm a teenager and I don't realize until afterwards or days later that what I've said was really arrogant/stuck up/rude etc.

Taylor is just like the rest of us teens. We think we're on top of the world and think we know everything. Whats wrong with enjoying life as a teenager? This is obviously her way of enjoying life. (Although, I don't condone drugs and partying that could be harmful) Ive met so many adults who tell me their teenage experiences and most are way crazier than mine.

I think the bagging on Taylor should cease because in reality, she's just a kid and a human being. She's got the right to say she doesnt care about the kids who look up to her. She got the job and if those whiner 'mums' don't like it, why the heck are they letting their kids watch a show that has implied teenage s*x? Like, come on. Her character is no Serena in the dating department. Isn't that worse than dressing trashy?'

That being said, I'm not a huge fan of her but I like her realistic views on her star status. She's not trying to be a role model so everyone should stop expecting her to dress and act like a good girl. Look at Jessica Alba if you want to look up to a responsible conservative star.

Most people in general credit themselves with greater importance than they have, including many of the posters in this thread. Why would you expect her to act with humility and grace, and if she doesn't, why do you continue to follow her? Guess what, Taylor is a hot b*tch, just like 90% of her peers. Ruining a thread with constant complaints about her is just narcissism based in the pleasure of hearing one's own voice. Unfortunately, I haven't read one single interview in which she's said something mature or intellectual.
So, up to now, it seems as if she were the only one who's persuaded of her intelligence and maturity.

I agree, Taylor is a complete moron (not much of an actress either). The only reason I follow this thread is for the pictures, which is why having 90% of the posts consist of white noise criticisms of her that are neither creative nor entertaining is really annoying. Posts that are just, "LOL lookit dis ugly ****** [emoticon]" say more about the poster than they do about Taylor.

That's true, of course, but (and this isn't supposed to be an excuse) some pictures/interviews almost provoke stupid comments.
Assuming that unconstructive critique says more about the poster than it does about Taylor is right, but you're not able to help it, unfortunately.
