I think the cover is rather uncreative.
But as the second comming of Kurt Cobain himself, she of course had to take a little kid going after something it shouldn't as the cover of her lifetime's masterpiece!

I think there's quite a difference between having a naked baby on your cover and using a mini version of yourself for your first album cover. But anyways, I think people are giving Taylor a bit too much credit, I doubt she had a lot to say about what the cover was going to look like. I like the idea of it and am pleasantly surprised we don't see a half naked Taylor on it

As we all know, Taylor Momsen is the racoon-eyed face of Madonna's Material Girl clothing line, and she's psyched.
Taylor, who is wearing more clothes than she's use to in the ad, says of her first major campaign:

"It’s awesome. For one, it’s Madonna so it’s gonna be cool and it’s really an awesome experience so far. We just finished shooting and the clothes are awesome."
We're going to go out on a limb here, but it sounds like its pretty awesome.
The Pretty Reckless singer also revealed that Lola had a huge role in styling the shoot:

"Lola was here all day and she helped style the shoot and I worked with her to put the outfits together. She’s a sweetheart. Madonna came a little bit later and she’s totally awesome. She’s very down to earth for all her success so that was…it was good to see that."

I am wondering whether Taylor wants the people to believe her music deals with religion too by reenacting the Last Supper. The song's pretty cool, I really like it whereas the music video sucks, it just doesn't go along with the lyrics ...

that is NOT style. that is abusing clothes!

as for the cover - the more she says shes being herself and unique or whatever the hell she raves about - shes just trying to be a female version of kurt and well, she should stop insulting his memory.

Ouch! I feel uncomfortable seeing her beeing compared to Kurt.
Don't get me wrong, I know very well that this wasn't your intention, but she isn't worth beeing mentioned in a sentence with Kurt.
He's (like) a god whereas Taylor is just some kind of free rider ... her problem is that she never really had to deal with serious life crises and that's what makes her appear so wannabe.
It's like talking about how it feels to be a drug addict - unless you didn't/don't do drugs yourself, you have absolutely no idea what's going on in an addict's head.

I am seriously wondering what she / her career will be like when she is done playing Antichrist Superstar.
Once she hits 18 her "Shock Lolita" image will fade anyway. Buuut I guess she makes enough money with her little rockstar show so she won't have to worry for her future

yeah... this is just a slap in the face to the whole grunge generation.
as for her singing, i cannot believe that people think it is okay. nope, she doesn't sound like a drowning cat, but her singing is very far from okay. its a voice of every other average female person. i still don't understand why she needs to be a singer. she was doing great on GG... at this moment, i have more respect for lilo and hilary duff.

Really? I mean, this is the typical scene girl look, imo. There are so many girls out there with long platinum blond hair, heavy eye make-up, rockband tees and stockings. Wouldn't give Taylor credit for that one. Maybe the other way around, though...
