Looks like Taylor Swift has something new to croon about. Though the news broke back in April that the singer would be the newest face of CoverGirl, fans have had to wait to see shots from the star’s ad campaign for the brand’s nature-inspired cosmetics line — until now. “I’m really excited for people to discover the new NatureLuxe line from CoverGirl!” Taylor said in a release. Not surprisingly, the fresh-faced country star proved herself to be as easy, breezy, beautiful as expected: surrounded by swathes of green fabric in a behind-the-scenes shot, Swift’s airy campaign shot reflects the feeling of the products, which were designed to deliver a polished but lightweight finish. “The Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm are really light and fresh, they feel amazing on my skin,” Swift raves of the makeup. Ready to sing its praises too? Fans can snag Taylor’s favorite products when they start rolling out in January.

Out with the old, in with the new. With the holiday season in full swing, Big Machine’s Taylor Swift climbed back on top of the HITS Album sales chart, with 255k in sales, up 27% over last week, bringing her total to more than 2.6 million.
That was enough to topple Columbia’s Susan Boyle from #1 down to #2, with 251k for a total of 1.65 million, giving Steve Barnett’s team four of the Top 10, with Rob Stringer’s Sony Music nabbing five overall, with a sixth on RCA/Jive Label Group.
Epic’s posthumous Michael Jackson album, Michael, debuts at #3, with 225k, followed by two more
