Oh come on! There's no CZECHOSLOVAKIA since 1993! Now we have Czech and Slovak Republics = two different countries, we have different languages and co.!

I like polish a bit better (not the writing part! :ninja:

), and yet a bit more slovenian/serb/croatian ...even though those sound to me sometimes as russian misspelled and mispronounced... :lol:

...but at least I can understand them a bit, while czech and slovakian are too different from russian and I just catch, like, 1 word out of 20...

- I tried it with hockey matches - a friend of mine is slovakian and she "tortured" me compelling me to see a tape of the slovakian victory against Russia in WC finals

; well, couldn't understand but a very few words; on the other hand, I've seen a few matches on slovenian tv, and I understood much better... :blush:

Does all that I've written make any sense? I hope it does...

..two different hockey styles (slovakian is much more fun, but czech boring defensive play wins much more... :innocent:

), different economies (Czechia is more developed - on the other hand Slovakia has the biggest natural reserve in Europe - the Mounts Tatra reserve), and so on, right? ^_^

p.s.
Both countries have lot of good beer and beautiful women, though!
