Teen Vogue June / July 2012 : Miranda Cosgrove by Jason Kibbler

I actually recently purchased my first Teen Vogue with Katy on the cover, it felt somewhat wrong considering I'm not a teenage girl haha. I have to admit to enjoying it, it's such a nice light read and the size is handy. Only wish there was more in the way of fashion editorial content.

I probably shall not be purchasing this issue though, it's a step backwards to their usual bland and cute covers. It's certainly not special. Never heard of Miranda Cosgrove to be fair.

Lovely colors, terrible cover shot! Her head looks like it was attached to it. Very bubble head like. The first shot could have been a far better cover. This is seriously a downgrade from last month`s Katy cover

Nice colors and text layout but her head looks a little wonky on the cover. Miranda's editorial looks really nice though.

I love Miranda, but they made her look like some Japanese cartoon on the cover. Not the best choice for a cover image

The editorials actually aren't all that bad in this month's issue. I'd even go as far as to say they're better than the ones Vogue put out. Teen Vogue has certainly been improving their content, in my opinion. There's an Olympics themed story photographed by Daniel Jackson that I absolutely love and might scan later.

This month's editorials are really great. And I love the "Grand Slam" ed... you can never go wrong with a Chanel tennis racquet!

I  Grand Slam as well. The retro editorial is great as well. Unfortunately Miranda's falls short. Nice to see her featured though. I don't know much about her, but she seems like a girl who has her head on her shoulders.
