I think your missing the point, in what way would a star from a TV show make more sense? It's the music issue, using someone like Katy is appropriate and I do feel the audience will be able to relate to her as her album is titled 'Teenage Dream' after all. I can imagine that there are a lot of teenage girls who would aspire to be like her as well.

I didn't even realize it was a music issue! What I'm trying to say is that I think they should have chosen a younger cover subject. I'm sure some girls look up to Katy, but I do not find her relateable whatsoever. I also can't think of another option without producing another Selena, Demi, or Miley cover, so I suppose this fits.
