It's unfortunate she comes off pretentious in print because she is a sweetheart in real life. I've said she's more of a teenager than she thinks, but she is still quite mature for her age when I got to know her a bit.

I don't understand the appeal of Taylor Momsen. It's like her real-life style and attitude changes are as radical (and even more frequent) as those of her character on Gossip Girl - who I find so obnoxious and quite badly styled. She seems a little... too cheap for Teen Vogue perhaps?

I'm sure she's a great role model and all that but to me she just doesn't radiate anything. She's neither here nor there... not original. Not a bad girl, not a good girl, just kind of 'Jennifer Garner'. I don't get it. If Teen Vogue want to do a young rock girl, I'd much rather see someone like Frances Bean Cobain on the cover.

Teen Vogue interviews never fail in making me feel as though the subject is insufferable, pretentious, fake, or all the above.

"i'm pretty.." ...what a turn off.. still, it's very likely that one day she'll look back at this and cringe so it's hard to be too cruel about it. these girls have too much at too young of an age.. reality has to hit at some point..

anyway, i actually don't find taylor pretty.. and i don't really like this pop punk princess style she's carrying lately.. so i'll pass..
