I don't know much about Temperley's previous collections, but this was by far one of my favorites of NY fashion week so far. Great use of black and white without being the least bit boring. It actually had a theme and a cohesive vision, very French chic-chic.

Even though I can see her ta-ta's I love that first top, so effortlessly chic.

Oh my god, dreadful!

Looks old, a bit like old armani (not in a good way)

You would never imagine this was from a young designer from London

I also think the casting looks old

I thought this label used to be young and fresh? . . .

Lovely collection as usual. I love the black and white dress.

It looks a bit spring, but I'm not complaining. The fabric patterns remind me of Vivienne Tam's new stuff, but this designer make it so light that it looks new and different.

I'm sorry, but she just doesn't ever seem to evolve does she? THe jewelled pretty dress, over and over and OVER again! Paisley embellishments, appliques. I respect signature style, but maybe I'm just never gonna be a fan.

wow-
i didn't even bother to check this thread because i think she is usually what susie said...
just following the predictable formula she is known for...

but i think this her strongest collection to date...
so much more modern and wearable in real life that all that 'sugary' stuff i am used to seeing from her..

it's actually 'chic'...which i didn't think i would every say about an alice temperly collection..

thanks to model mom for bringing it to my attention...:flower:

It's a beautiful collection but it's the same stuff as every other collection she's done. There is hardly any evolution.

not bad...
summer was better.
Alice has a signature style and that just is the embroidered tops and dresses...
i didnt see much of that in the winter 06 but i am sure the entire collection will again have more of her "signature pieces"... (even though i am also tired of that look)
