I don't like how Serena, Venus and Maria have turned tennis into some kind of fashion parade. I think I'm in the minority though. I love tennis and I love fashion, but I dunno, I just don't think they mix. I have nothing against wearing something nice but comfortable, but chandelier earrings? That's just ridiculous. I prefer to be focusing on the game and the athlete. IMO it just puts unnecessary pressure on a lot of female players. You don't see the male players acting this way on court, do you? I just think it detracts from the game. Just my two cents
Serena and Venus have zero form of style between them. They need to accept that they are larger ladies (literally compare their thighs to the Russian twigs) and not mince about in floaty dresses and pretend otherwise.
They are not fat or unattractive and that is not what I'm implying just that there is far more skill in dressing to flatter your body type as well as paying hommage to whatever is in fashion than just stepping into an outfit because its fresh off the catwalk.
^^^ me too !!!!! I miss the hair sooo much. He´s still gorgeous anyway. And I agree, He´s been through a lot. I love him. There are a lot of great men in tennis now.
These are some photos from the recent Glam Slam event held in New York as part of the celebrations leading up to the US Open on monday. This is my first time posting pictures, so...here goes!
I've enclosed pictures of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, James Blake (seems to be a favourite here! For my vote, I prefer clean shaven!), Elena Dementieva and Daniela Hantuchova (pretty girls).
I have lots of these kinds of pictures, so if anyone wants more of a particular player, let me know!
And, since I seem to be on a roll with posting pictures , here are some more from another pre-US Open party, held at the W Hotel in New York.
Maybe not so big on style, but at least it's their own clothes! Here's Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, James Blake and Maria Sharapova...all pictures from Getty again.
