TFS Fashion Week Attendees...

Any showgoers seen any model runway mishaps? I'm watching footage from the Olympus FW website and I'm just curious.
I didn't attend personally but I watched a few of the videos too and here's what stuck out in my mind:

Carlos Miele: Right at the very end, Karolina Kurkova almost got accidentally clotheslined in the face by one of the musicians playing the live music, as she was walking by him. I don't think she got hit but the whole top of her body whipped back when she saw that arm coming straight for her face. Good reflexes!

Marc Bouwer: One of the models tripped and almost did a face splat but caught herself in time. However, the way she stopped herself looked like the end of some kind of gymnastics dismount off the balance beam. The audience was a good sport about it and gave her a round of applause.:D

Anna Sui: One of the models had to take off her green winter coat when she reached the end of the runway but the coat turned out so horribly difficult to unbutton!:( There were only three buttons to do but her hands were shaking and each button was taking forever. Seriously, how much time to they have at the end of the runway? She was still struggling with the third when Liya was coming up fast behind her - uh oh, a model traffic jam. Finally she gave up and did this quick pose with the coat still half on. I felt so bad for her. Normally, I wouldn't be wondering who she is but now that I feel bad for her, I'm curious to know who she is. Is she one of the much-hyped new faces? Picture below from gettyimages.com-> Personalities are different, but would the designer be angry about this or just laugh it off?

Normally, I don't look for mistakes but when they happen, they just stick in the mind.

I think it was Dewi Driegen. I'm assuming the shoes were a pain to walk in, a couple of other girls in the show also accidentally stepped out of their shoes.

lots of shows for me tomorrow  i hate womens shows

Why do you hate women's shows? Not that I'm an expert on fashion shows, I've only been to two, but I can see how one can become tired of attending, and have high expectations!

well womens shows are just generally more fussy affairs than mens ones.
i dont like the people so much...
the models themselves are more fun backstage but its all the same shizzle

frost french should be cool today, i hope mossy is gonna fly in to see it
i just hate the general snoobyness at womens shows......its like.....i dont care who you are or think you are.....we're all here to watch a show......get over yourself

Are there any tFS people going to 'da big ones' in Milan or Paris?

frost french was kinda cute
the theme was bamboushka.....sort of russian doll looking girls
they copied last season's lacroix hair SO BLATANTLY though
no kate or sienna at the show though :(

gotta get ready for williamson party xoxo

I had seats at the Ronit Zilka a couple of years ago. What I thought was hilarious was that Ulrika Johnston arrived...with her four small children. All the kids got front row seats! What do those kids know about fashion? I just thought it was a shameless publicity stunt, when it should have been about just the fashion.
Actually, at Nicole Farhi's last summer show, I was next to Steven Marks when he was having a rant at the head of press because there were not enough celebrities in the front row.

If everyone in fashion had that kind of attitude, I think the world would be a better place!:p

I know this isn't exactly the place to post such info, but I can't find the thread.... So anyway, there were some members who were interested in the Daily, the magazine that are given for free for fashion week attendes, if you want to get it for free you can go to their website, fill out a 2 short questions survey (will take less than 2 seconds to answer) and you can receive it. For canadian and USA residents only though.....:

Thank you so much for the link!
(love the pic in your avatar of a pissed off Kate lol)

I was at the Hussein Chalayan and Viktor & Rolf shows last week in Paris...unfortunately my pics turned out pretty much universally awful, but here's a few of the more bearable ones...

Chalayan (fantastic and gorgeous...wish I'd been in a better spot though...):

Viktor & Rolf (sweet, but definitely treading the fine line between clever and annoying. And I could have done without the caterwauling musical accompaniment - not a Tori Amos fan, myself):
