i'm so excited by the mixes here! :buzz: hye park, your cd looks amazing! i was thinking of doing a similar timeline, but i couldn't organise my thoughts well enough...my entire music collection is hiding in californian storage while i myself am here in halifax, so i had little to work with...however, electricringo, that mix IS indicative of my life, so not to worry! ;) i'm glad you like the new order song - it's one of my favorites

^ Seriously, that track alone is changing my life. This morning I wouldn't get off my bed because I wanted to keep listening to that one song. I played your CD several times today already :D

Cosette! Honestly after seeing everyone else's mix, I thought mine was maybe... too commercial. I'm glad you like it!

I received mine from Hye Park Lover last night...

Wayhey! I was seriously worried that it might not actually make it over to the other side of the pond, but glad it did. It's so strange seeing the CD in a completely different part of the world. I almost had to refrain myself from initiating a conversation with it....

p.s. Thank you very much to everyone who complimented the CD artwork, although I must admit that i didn't actually draw it, *cough*I scanned it from an I Am Kloot CD sleeve*cough*:innocent:

Love your tracks... Especially the ones where you rob that bank in Manchester then move to NYC.
Your autobio has everything...

^Yeees, I plan to have a veeery comprehensive life:zorro:
P.S. Was going to put "Ding! Dong! The witch is dead" from the Wizard Of Oz as my "funeral" song, but my hand kind of slid and pressed the Burn CD button by accident, instead of Add this track:innocent:

this isn't related to the fashionspot mix trade, but it's related to a mix, so i thought i'd share...about a billion years ago, long before i started the tfs mix trade (really only a few months), i posted on my blog that i wanted to do a mix trade with some friends. no one really followed through despite a bit of interest (i certainly didn't, because i figured i'd be making a mix for no one!) but tonight, my roommate's friend lachie (pronounced lock-key) came over and gave me a mix! i'm super excited about it! :woot:

I'm having the Elvis blues. My mix 'returned to sender' yesterday. Apparently I suck at stamping sufficiently. I'm really, really sorry, but do promise to send it off again tomorrow! This time, hopefully for good!

^^ These all look wonderful

I’m so glad you liked the mix fifties-fille- Hopefully listening to it isn’t too much like studying french  (btw. they were songs from the past/ & present…the titles in bold are current favorites)

Glad it got there safely. I wonder if my October mix ever arrived...
