tFS mix tape/cd project!

Oh I know what couture is, but what about couture music?
Dont worry hye park lover, it's an original theme!

I think there is many ways to go about this theme, maybe not to think so much about what is Couture Music, but more trying to cath the idea, feeling etc... of what is Couture in a piece of music:huh: .... but again I think it's quite open for interpretations...:p....

To me, I think it means rich resonant music, like the modern-day version of old opera singing :ninja:

But hey, it could even be like that couture is tailored, custom-fitted and personal, so your mix could be tailor-made for your receipient, like some songs could mention the name of his/her country (especially easy if you're from America :p ), others could mention his/her name etc. :)

for this theme, couture shows usually have music completely different to the clothes, gives them a bit of attitude, chanel usually has some music like "vitalic" or "new order" - then there is dior which will use ANYTHING that resembles the show, but all of it anyway is usually the less known chic rock bands and stuff...i dont think im getting to the point here

^ Basically any music that reminds you of couture (be it chic rock bands or Divertimento in D) or any music that you think will make a good background soundtrack to a couture show.

I love the theme! :woot: I already have some songs in mind. I'm going to do my mix soon so I don't forget.

// Pandinha that mix sounds great!

you're welcome! i know my handwriting is really hard to read - i fixed them in red :)

do you like it? what are your favorites?

it's not that hard  :flower: My favorites were Flexible Flyer, Her Jazz, She's Hearing Voices and of course, Panda. And my sister's already making eyes to the CDs. She's so discreet. :innocent:

my poor match hasn't received a mix yet.

(i feel like back in school now "my dog has hidden/eaten/peed on my paper, miss.." but here is my apology: my notebook fell into a coma a few weeks ago, was sent away to recover, took its time.. now it's back. if i can let go of it and stop hugging it, i will make the CD immediately. and it will be a labour of love.)

Same here. soo behind on the mixes. sorry- hopefully will be out by the beginning of next week

I was just wondering something... I sent four (sending this month's next week, swear!) mixes, but only two were posted here. Does that mean that two of them did not made it or that the sendees just didn't show up?
