She does. I wish someone would find out what skin products she uses and how she cares for her hair and what hair dresser she uses. Anyone from the UK-are there a lot of black hair care salons over there?

I know !I've always been desperate to know the same things too!
I'm based in London so there are literally hundreds of black hair salons, especially in the south, but I've rarely come across one that styles good (I get my hair relaxed).
I do know that she often goes to have her hair done at Junior Green in Regent's Street. Very upmarket salon. Not your average run-off-the-mill afro salon! Now mentioning that, I think I'm definitely gonna have to make an appointment there. My hair is in dire need of attention!

So is South London predominately black?

I would love to have my hair styled by Thandie's stylist. One thing I have noticed is that she used to wear her hair natural, but not anymore.

I forgot-you can go into the who designed it thread and ask about Thandie's bab

London is a great metropolis and is wonderfully mixed but I guess South London has a much stronger black community than North. Sounds funny but it seems very much like home for many, since in the 50's with Windrush and the emigration of Afro-Carribean people to UK, many settled and congregated in South London like Brixton, Peckham, Stretham...and as a result there sprung up tons of salons and beauty shops catering to black people and food stalls full of Afro-Carribean cuisine. And ever since generations of immigrants have been settling in areas which are seen as a home from home. The area is pretty symbolic too as it was in Brixton that racial tensions exploded during the 80's, which are known as the Brixton Riots, in which black people fought the oppression of the police...but I digress....

It's where I was born and I've lived down South all my life. I love it to pieces!

Thank you for sharing that! How big is South London? Is it near Whitechapel?

I would like to know if all the frocks Thandie has been wearing lately, especially the ones she wore to all the Bafta parties were loanouts or if she got to keep them
