Fendi's Bold Move
House confirms front row celeb triumvirate

(MILAN) Hot on the heels of
Sharon Stone and
Steven Tyler sitting front row at Roberto Cavalli, Fendi has added some star wattage of its own to Milan Fashion Week. In an unexpected move for the house, which usually eschews the celebrity contingent, preferring to focus on the clothes, Fendi has just confirmed it will fly
Eve,
Jacinda Barrett, and
Thandie Newton into Milan for tomorrow's runway show. Whoever said Milan wasn't bold?

Over at Fendi, Lagerfeld drew three of the brand’s biggest fans:
Jacinda Barrett and
Eve, both of whom flew in from Los Angeles, and
Thandie Newton, who made the quick trip from London. Each of the ladies professed their fondness of the brand for different reasons. “I have literally been drawn here through the designs and the clothes,” Newton offered. “The last couple of years have been a big change for me and my life and I just, I don’t know, I feel like I’ve promoted myself spiritually and emotionally and Fendi just seemed to be in the new place where I’m at.”
