Don't get me wrong-I love her and she is in the top 5 of any best dressed actress out there, but her popping up at all these events seems to smack a bit of desperation imho. I do give her props for being in this business for 17 years and working consistently. So hard for any actress, but especially a black one.

Thandie looks great in that Chanel dress. Mini's always looks beautiful on her - she has great legs. I would agree that Thandie is one of the best dressed actresses around right now. I would not call her a famewhore at all - going to events is part of what a high profile actress does, its a good way to meet people and network. Photographers take her picture yes but she does not at all seem like a person who is desperate to be famous.

I tend to agree with Aby. I think she's gorgeous and is IMO the best dressed actress out there so I like seeing her out and about. Most of these pics never seem to make it into magazines anyway because she's not gushed over by editors like other actresses.

The events she shows for are pretty classy and she doesn't seem to be out there partying or giving her opinion on everything for attention.

If it wasn't for this wonderful thread, I wouldn't see much of her at all.

ITA! It's not as if she showed up to the opening of a McDonalds. I love seeing her out there. In fact she should go out more

Not sure. It will be released in England before it is released here. Did Run Fat Boy Run even come out in the US?

I've just checked and no date of release available yet in France.
I don't know about Run Fatboy run release in the US but it's not out till May 2008 here...
