I loooooved this collection!
There was always that « hot chick » « model core » aesthetic that is slightly tacky and pragmatic that I love.

It’s like the perfect dose of tackiness, of good taste, of pieces that are wearable, some barely there but it’s perfectly incarnated.

It’s really rare to have this kind of fashion with a HF POV and this solve the equation.

I take the look on MCB, the blue shirt dress and the gingham long skirt.
We don’t need to see low rise skirts or pants comeback but it’s perfectly executed.

The brand is almost a decade now. I personally discovered through shoes years ago on NAP when I bought their « Venus » slingback.
They aren’t really a Proenza type because their aesthetic is sexy. So they have a defined aesthetic that is between eurotrash and early 00s Vogue Paris.

However they aren’t really consistent with their runway shows and Emmanuelle Alt is their stylist.

I think this collection shows a maturity in their approach. It’s proof that now they don’t only dress the models but the editors too.

I have a harder time buying N21 than this. And I know quite a few women who wears the brand. Their stuff outside of party clothes is good.

Rich women from here in Brazil love their clothes and this collection really contributes to that. That’s what I would expect from Dolce & Gabbana, but I’m happy to see it on their runway. I’m also enjoying to see how much they translate their lifestyle into fashion.

Sexy stuff here works. But tailoring etc I would not buy personally.
