I noticed most posts feature models in (sometimes) generic poses and photoshopped to the hilt. They were beautiful but the best campaigns for me of the decade were LV's. Here are some snapshots

i just want to thank everyone for posting these pictures....it's a wonderful trip down memory lane. the campaigns that spring to mind for the last decade remain the fendi campaign with maggie rizer right at the turn of the decade for fall 2000; the prada campaign that launched daria into the firmament in fall 2003; the jil sander spring summer 2008 waxed so intellectual yet so sensual it stuck around as one of my favorites; the yves saint laurent m7 ads for their purity and raw controversy; and the versace ads with amber valetta and georgina grenville also made my mind swoon.

I'm still working on putting my post together but it seems like the general consensus is that ads and I think fashion in general was more exciting in the early 2000s/1st half of the decade.

^ Definitely, no question about it. Everything about fashion as a whole was more exciting during that time. Ads, models, collections, designers, runways and probably even the soundtracks.

Many campaigns stand out to me, and most of them have already been posted. I'd like to add Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2007 to the list. The photographs are incredibly striking and gorgeously highlight the clothes.

^ Oh definitely. That campaign looked amazing in print.

And I forgot about how much I used to love that black and white Valentino campaign with Caroline and Karolina. They both looked fantastic in those shots.
