The Best & Worst Catwalkers

^ Yes Lagerfeldboy, but let us agree to disagree before I rant about Karlie and get another warning from the mods :ninja:

^ Exactly, Arizona, Cara, Karlie, Julia Nobis, neither are they good walkers nor are they that gorgeous but keep getting booked because they somehow are the 'IT' girls of the moment . Although I love Mathias in pictures.

I'm saying that because you mainly don't like his appearance, not only his walk. So at that point, we won't get any agreement about anything on him.

^ No I like Mathias in pictures, I think he's one of the best male models in that aspect. There are many models who I like and think are gorgeous but also accept that they are bad on the runway like Danny Schwarz, Mat Benstead, Nils Butler.

O Shea Robertson has one of the most outstanding male model walks imo, so cool and easy, he's very underrated.

^ Talking about underrated this guy Jonathan Marquez is so underrated. He is gorgeous and charming backstage and amazing on the runway. His walk is similar to Lucas Mascarini & Tomas Guarracino and I think therefore D&G put them one after another at their Spring 2012 show and in similar outfits.

2:58 - Tomas
3:05 - Lucas
3:11 - Jonathan
(THAT is called 'effortless' guys B))

When it comes to male models, the Kings are definitely Lucas Mascarini and Simon Nessman.

And i have to agree with those Vlada moments, specially the Dior S/S10 and the Versace ones... those are marvelous

^ Oh no he is one of those models who keep moving their head that I can't deal with

One of the worst Melissa Tammerijn. I hate it when models keep moving their head for no reason, it looks ametuer and unattractive imo.

True, don't like her walk either.
There's something weird about her body movement on the runway as well.

Melissa T. doesn't have the strongest walk or the most impressive but its definitely not one of the worst compared to some of the monstrosities we have had to put up with on the runway.

^ To me she is one of the worst. Maybe because I have high standards on models' walks or maybe I'm a nitpicking wacko

One of the best Evandro and not so best (actually bad) Mathias in the same video. You can see the difference here, hands should go back and forth not sideways like a pendulum and Mathias' head and body is tilted weirdly. There is no energy in his walk in contrast to great walkers like Evandro.

I actually like Melissa's walk - I certainly don't ~wuv~ it, but there's something so graceful about her walk, like she's waltzing down the runway... Kind of like Karlie's snake-y walk, excpet without the try-hardness.

^ To me, she moves her head too much and the smirk she has all the time :judge: There is no energy in her walk like when you see her it does not make you go 'wow'.

Among the new models, I think Andie Arthur's walk is quite good. Especially at John Galliano Fall 2012 0:44

The worst walkers, in my opinion are in reigning order: Karlie Kloss, Arizona, and that chick, what's her name again, she was the second walker in the recent YSL 2012/2013 collection, absolutely horrendous

and

ditto to Maximilian S, I also have "high standards on catwalking" - I'm simply not impressed at all with a few of the current batch of models on the runway. Oh, and I forgot to add Kinga to my list above.
