I don't know if I can start a thread like this but anyway, what I love in this forum is the opinion of you guys, SO, let's post here what we think about the spring/summer collections.
Starting with NYFW, and we can do with the following fashion weeks:

BEST:
Marc Jacobs
Rodarte
DvF
Proenza Schouler (Ok, I said that I hated the collection, bet they still the voice of Upper East Side, and I love this guys, they can't do worst)

And, thats all. NY is dead.

WORST:
Altuzarra
Tommy Hilfiger (Please, I want a world with lee Gigi for my kids)
And, all the rest, in a certain way, like I said NY is dead.

PS: I liked of some pieces from the Tory Burch show too, but I'm not sure if i could put this collection in my "top 5".

For NYC I really only enjoyed DKNY, Rodarte, DVF and Thakoon.

NYFW
Best: Rodarte, Altuzarra, Sies Marjan
Worst: Tommy Hilfiger, Hood by Air

LFW (so far)
Best: Faustine Steinmetz, Marta Jakubowski, Simone Rocha
Worst: nothing sticks out but there were many mediocre collections

I really liked Marc Jacobs and Narciso Rodriguez, and I agree about what whitewine92 said about Proenza. Not very fond of the collection in general, but I always enjoy their show for some reason...

In LFW, Simone Rocha is my favorite so far. <3

New York

Best: Proenza, Rodarte, Sies Marjan
Worst: Yeahhhhhhh

Worst has to be Altuzarra for NY.

Best for NY for me is Tome, Brandon Maxwell, Delpozo, Rosie Assoulin, Dion Lee & Tibi.

Jury's still out on LFW.

Way too soon for this thread. Nobody remembers NY even a week after it's over.

It's much interesting when we have this thread right after the Miu Miu show and people have a clearer picture of what to talk about.

Also the coverage on tFS has been a bit lackluster so it takes longer to track down collections and see what was shown. LFW delivered some of my favorites so far (Margaret Howell+Sharon Wauchob) but there are no threads for it, might be eventually, but yeah, threads like this are a bit premature...

NYFW

Best: Sies Marjan, Monse, DKNY, Proenza, and Rodarte
Worst: Alexander Wang, and probably more I cant remember

I think that is why it was started. lol

Alexander Wang was pretty bad too, although a lot of his work lies in the details, which were hard to see on the runway, the overall show was just all over the place. :(

In two weeks, it's kinda easy to separate good & bad collections. Memorable collections (from those who made an effort of creativity) and others (those who followed what happened last season).

NYFW

BEST: (Tom Ford...I know it's FW16^_^), Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Monse, Ralph Lauren & Kors (for the spirit rather than the clothes...)

WORST: I don't remember, it was boring or unmemorable.

LFW

BEST: Simone Rocha, Paul Smith, Roberta Einer, Topshop Unique (i love the 80's) and JW Anderson (for the spirit and the feminity. The clothes weren't that good).

WORST: Mary Katranzou. That collection was a joke. Even if it wasn't bad per say, i don't have any patience for obvious copies.

Delpozo has to be my favourite show so far, followed by Christopher Kane. Marc Jacobs was good as well.

Worst has to be Julien Macdonald. And Mary Katranzou unfortunately. It pains me to say as I'm a massive fan of her work, but this collection was a complete miss.

I can't make my mind if Antonio Marras is doing brilliantly good or bad. Luke Leitch of vogue.com even starts the article with "This is endless."
Can somebody break it down what to look at cause I gave up after 4 looks from the back.

I'll come back with my best/worst of the season once the dust has been settled at Miu Miu's show. It has been quite boring so far, but I must say I am very eager for Paris to commence given all the changes; Olivier Theysken's long awaited return (at least by me :ninja:), Vacarello at Saint Laurent, Chiuri at Dior, Piccioli alone at Valentino, and Jarrar's first full season collection at Lanvin.

this has been such a depressing season. Up until now I liked

Balenciaga (exciting and fresh)
Marni (beautiful and poetic)
Comme des Garcons ( just heartbreakingly beautiful)
Lutz ( want to wear )
Y Project (want to wear too)

biggest disappiontments

Dior
Jil Sander

I haven't revisited the older shows (Milan and NY) after respective fashion weeks were over, so from what I remember the best for me were (in no particular order:(
NY: Narciso Rodrigues
Milan: Bottega Veneta, Jil Sander
Paris: Chloe, Haider Ackermann

not quite fav, but the ones that I still want to mention: Marni and Dries , but if I had to pick only 3 it would be very easy: Narciso, Bottega and Haider delivered it this season like no one else did

WTF collections: Emilio Pucci, Elie Saab, Dior
