Your Best & Worst Collections of S/S 2019

ok, not related, but the hits and misses of Paris on the main page of the site are bullsh*t. You're all crazy! And I saw lots of good comments regarding some "miss" collections so that was total bullsh*t. btw Valentino was a Total hit. and so was Givenchy.

HITS: Thom Browne, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Rick Owens, Dries

MEH: Givenchy, Chanel,

MESS: BALMAIN!!!! Olivier should be ashamed. That show is literally a parody of high fashion and he is completely incompetent as a creative director.

Best shows:

Louis Vuitton
Givenchy
Fendi
Paco Rabanne
Zimmermann
Burberry
Balmain
Isabel Marant
Marni
Alberta Ferretti
Calvin Klein
Valentino

the only thing I actively didn't like was Gucci (not my thing at all never has been)

It wasn't a very impressive season but it was a big improvement over the previous season. The fall of the ugly sneaker and logo mania was a much needed change.

Best:
Tom Ford- Strong, Sexy, Wearable.
Marc Jacobs- Drama! Lights Camera Action!
Fendi- Lots of new ides.
Prada- Reboot! Finally!
Moschino- Fashion! Werk!
Marni- Romantic, Artistic, and Chic!
Olivier Theyskens- Art and Commerce combine!
Maison Margiela- Need I say more?
Loewe- Not my cup of tea, but the details are undeniable.
Miu Miu- Lolita Japanase Street Chic!

Worst:
Michael Kors- Walmart Couture.
Calvin Klein- Sank like the Titanic.
D&G- ....
Gucci- How it could be so messy and so boring at the same time is beyond me!
Celine- Hedi "It's my world and you all just live in it" Silmane.
Louis Vuitton- 1992 Called. It wants it ugly back.

My favorites :
Gucci
Thom Browne
Maison Margiela
Balenciaga
Fendi
Chanel
LV

No Go:
Off-White
Celine
Philipp Plein ( the show was good, collection was bad)

Tom Ford.
Marc Jacobs.
Telfar.
J.W. Anderson.
Moschino.
Prada.
Comme des Garcons.
Lemaire.
Dries van Noten.
Rick Owens.
Yohji Yamamoto.
Loewe.
Acne Studios.

the rest can go home.

80's, and I meant every year of that decade, made no sense for fashion ... fortunately, for SS19 it's easy to look to a collection because it has only some of the 80's elements (still, that brown is so depressing).

Best: Tom Ford, top to toe (feminine, sensual, with a touch of glamour).

Then, Hermes (fresh and clean) and Versace (sometimes prints were too many for one piece).

Worst: Celine (he should make his own brand instead of presenting his collections under different names).
And Dior (actually where is Dior?; the collection qualifies successfully for this position anyway).

May personal favorite would be FENDI.
I personally hated DIOR.
