The Big Bang Theory: No love for Sheldon
This Morning executive producers of the show The Big Bang Theory broke hearts of fans everywhere when they announced theories of their own. During the Television Critics Association winter press tour they announced that there is no love for sheldon in the near future.

Many fans of the show were rooting for a Sheldon/ Penny hook-up. Sorry to those fanatics that were hoping to see a pairing of the two because it seems that Sheldon wont be falling in love anytime soon.

The producers explained that Sheldon's charecter, played by Jim Parsons, was a man dedicateed to his work. They feel that if he were to have a love life on screen that it would alter his charecter. The charecter has made a conscious descision to immerse himself in all things science and George Lucas. They also say though, that there is no hard fast rule that Sheldon will never fall in love.
