This thread was created so that we can see whether his work at d can redeem his infamous Vogue Italia days.

Emanuele Farneti is doing a good job redeeming himself so far! It’s giving Italian M Le Magazine Du Monde and I am here for every bit of it.

the accessory shots are literally giving me life.

Is this a weekly magazine? Then it’s pretty good actually. I think the pressure at Vogue IT to create something cOoL and RevOluTioNaRy was real that had him to create the disaster issues, which we can never forget.

My thoughts precisely. Quite a great selection of fashion editorials so far, it's very reminiscent of the direction M le Monde is going for and yet it's distinct enough to hold its own. I don't speak Italian so I can't tell whether it's any good, but there's a lot of written content in each issue as well. I appreciate the balance between their fashion content and non-fashion related subjects. Seems like a nice selection of the new crop of photographers too, I adore that Porodina editorial as well as Scandebergs' story with Marina Abramovic.

He still mixes fashion with art, as he did at Vogue Italia and L'Uomo Vogue. This looks more acceptable thanks to his art director (I think it's the same from L'Uomo). With Verderi would have been the same as VI.

Thanks for sharing this @aracic the quality of the paper is good also...for sure it feels a change for D...i only have the Anja's cover...but i see there is something positive a stronger than the previous D. This week's editorial and cover story are good. saw it yesterday at the supermarket....
