Derek Lam SS05 would've looked great on Eva Mendes, but instead it went to Natalie Portman. Not that it looked bad on Natalie, b/c Derek's clothes fit her very well, but Eva could benefit from dressing in a classier way.

pull it off or carry it off, the point is, that who could wear a piece, and not only look good themselves but actually do justice to a dress or whatever is posted. I think simply "pulling it off" is doing the bare minimum, to carry something off is to do what I just explained above. Phew...enough of that! Glad people like the thread!
