I used to wear high heels sneakers in the early 90s..
..ohh, I was so chic

I hate to admit it, but I did too. And I thought I looked so good, too.

what a fun topic!!

but

leather flat boots with to many straps and then they tuck their jeans in it! stop it girls! not stylish and it makes you look too fat or too thin, you're not trendy!

I love those, but the suede ones (that are now freakin everywhere in the stores  I'm at a debate whether to buy them now that they have infiltrated)

HOw do you suppose it is to be worn? if not that way?

*tie-dye Prada style pleated skirt in green tones (only 35e from Zara)
*black high neck blouse
*black opaque tights
*green 5inch round toe maryjanes
*any good old black box coat/peacoat/jacket

instant and easy and totally chic

Lagerfeld for H&M black silk shorts:
  • Purple silk tie neck blouse
  • louis vuitton kiltie detail round toe black high heel pumps
  • loose messy chignon, red lipstick and false eyelashes
  • $10 million dollars worh of diamonds and pearls stacked on
  • Black fur bomber jacket
  • Purple silk clutch with 1347889 broaches attached
Ha the exaggerated lady like look fed to us by all the mags.

Next: dior logo knee socks

-Dior logo knee high socks
-red plaid pleated mini skirt from some cheap store
-black converse sneakers (isnt it funny that something that used to be iconicly individual has now become such a trend???)
-lime green tee shirt with some dumb saying like "My Boyfriend is Out of Town" and some tacky graffic on it
-fake LV multicolor pochette

Ok, I am going to try this one out ...

1. Vintage Wannabe T-shirt
2. Seven Jeans, low cut where the fat pours out the to the sides slightly.
3. Jeans tucked into flat scrunch boots
4. Hair held back by a pucci scarf
5. Large Sun Glasses
6. Fake Tan
7. And make-up that looks a bit shiny.

((Did I just describe the cross between Lindsay Lohan & Nicole Richie))

:innocent:

 this is so on point it's not funny...this is practically the dress code for a lot of girls at my school, except those moccasins are flats and not high heels. BTW that outfit is the epitome of bad, conformist taste IMO.

I win!!

all hail the sienna/kate wannabees.

literally plastic faux fur gilet
boots with straps bought from new look, with a totally plastic, rubber sole, (or horrible cowboy boots)
studded wannabee leather belt that is trying sooo hard to be boho but has hideous diamante buckle therefore erasing all romantic qualities
tight, tight jeans-usually when the person really shouldn't wear tight jeans (this can be substituted for a denim mini that is trying to look vintage but isn't)
a balenciaga rip off from miss selfridge (basically a leather bag with a few leather strands hanging from it) or a fake louis

these specimens are found around oxford st.

This is basically the dress code for girls at my school:sick: :

-Juicy hoodie(velour usually)
-Hollister/abercrombie jeans
-northface jacket
-uggs
-fake louis/prada/dior/juicy bag
-fake logo chanel earings
-Return to tiffany & co dog tag, large enough so you can tell its "tiffany's"
-tiffany heart tag bracelet
-von dutch hat
-fake orange/brown tan
-straightened hair to the point where split ends are sticking out everwhere

this is the dress code for the "cool" girls at my school :yuk: :

-juicy velour hoodie
-logo hollister/abercrombie shirt
-hollister/abercrombie jeans
-uggs
-abercrombie legwarmers
-logo kate spade backpack/fake murakami
-northface jacket
-return to tiffany necklace., large enough to show its from "tiffany's"
-fake orange tan:sick:
-hair straightened to the point where split ends are sticking out everywhere
-livestrong bracelet

See this type of thing very often around my college, however the belt is more brown topshop one and big furry boots with either jeans tucked in or with skirt. But definately the faux fur gilet and the tight jeans or 'vintage' mini and balenciage rip off.

Some of the college girls also suffer from serious fur overkill.

my revision of sohoxchic's post...

omg...this one makes me throw up in my mouth everytime i see it...

-messenger boy cap
-abecrombie logo tee
-juicy velour hoodie
-denim mini (usually abecrombie)
-pink or baby blue uggs
-tiffany open heart necklace (i admit, i have one too)
-return to tiffany heart tag bracelet
-fake louis vutton/dooney and burke, the pink one with the hearts and the tassle

 i think it's the uggs and juicy...i hate them both because of this...
