I have heard of a site that shows MAC lipsticks/liglasses on the lips...does anyone know this site? Or any other brand/product, anything would be aprreciated.

if you have a live journal account, search for mac_cosmetics community and in the memories, they have a list of a bunch of stuff and some of them have pics of lip products on.

I was just wondering which sites/people you refer to, I don't have such a website, but since I find some of them quite good I'd like to know what could be even better. There are the FOTDs on specktra, ok, some don't apply it that well, but others are really good at it IMO

The worst pics though come from makeupalley members that seem to be obsessed by the brand and in the end you see the pics and all they care about is to pile 5 dif. colour eyeshadows of their lids!

How you liked the pics, if you think they did it well or if they are those who can't apply.

The forum is nice for people who love makeup, but there is still that around MAC feeling that would be nicer if it wasn´t.
I understand the forum works around loving makeup and Mac at the same time, but i just don´t get why.
Of course Mac is a fantastic brand, but why do all the looks have to be Mac related?

The same applies to the Mac face charts that are very nice indeed but that in my opinion don´t really work for most faces.
Mac really exagerates in the ammount of colours and pigments that an only eyemakeup should have, and this kind of looks are nice for a special face or day, and not really for an everyday use or for all the faces, even though that´s what they are trying to pass to us.
But of course i love it how everyone loves makeup and experiment with it, it´s one of the most fun things to do.

The other thing i find it odd in this site, is how everyone seems to be so well informed about makeup and nothing on the beauty related basics, like eyebrows.
Most peoples eyebrows are very very badly tweezed and have nothing to do with the girls faces, wich is a shame because beauty and makeup starts in the basics.

Apart from my observations, i find the forum v nice and some of the girls there really have talent.
