^Which colors did you try? I got the palette in the Natural shade. The colors are much lighter than the Brun shade - still, I do regret buying it... The colors don't suit me at all. They're a slight, slight bit red. But they do smooth out my eyebrows for some reason :D I just wish they released these shades in grey.

^ The lady told me they did only one shade  I told you that lady was
w-e-i-r-d !!!! I don't know what shade she show me but the first one was white the second one was light brown and the third one was black....whatever I'll keep looking for other powders but I went to : YSL , Dior , lancome , guerlain ...nobody does brows powders

^Aww! The shade you looked at was the Bruns one. Maybe you should just use eyeshadow as your brow powder. A matte greyish brown? They work great as brow powders :D

i am at uni in newcastle and can never wait when its time for me to go back to manchester to see my beautician to have my eyebrows threaded! i tried getting them threaded at fenwicks in newcastle it cost me £14!!! plus she made a horrid job of it as my brows grow super fast and being indian they are jet black and need to be shaped quite thick! so i am under strict orders to grow them out and i feel like an ape i would post a photo but im scared of the comments lol

I like thicker brows.. similar to that of Arlenis Sosa that command attention.. the more natural, the easier to keep them up.

You can do it yourself, it's super easy ^_^

ha! i tried to tweeze aswell and went slightly crazy so for my flat party i had one bussy brow and one quite stranger looking one. i desperately need a thick fringe to hide it all till i go home lol

I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time last night, they look fantastic! It was a bit painful since it was my first time but the end result was so worth it. I will never wax again!

^Do show us a pic, I've never had mine threaded before but I do want to try :buzz:

i want to lighten my black hair like kissablekae, but got these eyebrows and wanna keep them:

:P

how would i go about doing that? or should i just do like M.I.A., where the contrast wouldn't be so striking --how do i even describe her hair?

As far as threading and pain, it's determined by two things: the person doing the threading, and how much regrowth you have.

The longer between threading you wait, the more it hurts. Also, each person that performs the threading is different; one woman I went to was very experienced and it didn't hurt AT ALL...then with another woman it hurt so badly I was crying.

It really just depends!

I don't understand why you guys don't do threading yourselves, really. It's super easy! I would never pay to have that done. You can find youtube tutorials that explains it very well...I have an Iranian mother-in-law though, she taught me in 3 minutes :D

I'd just like to throw this out there, but I found a fantastic little brush that came (to my surprise) with these eyebrow stencils by mirra.

The smaller brush is the one I got, but it came with 3 different stencils (full, natural, fine) and I absolutely love them. I got mine at the local grocery store, but I would definitely suggest it to anyone who doesn't know how to properly do their eyebrows (because I had no idea what-so-ever).

Also, quite a few of you are saying that no one does eyebrow powder- just use a color that's close to your natural that is an eyeshadow. I just grab a cheapy brand and throw it on, it looks just as good!

lol same here my bf has perfect eyebrows...:P

I agree that a good eyebrow can make anyone look 10 times better.

I must admit though, I sometimes get lazy  . But as someone else pointed out, I just feel prettier when they are done.

My boyfriend though, has perfectly shaped/colored natural brows.... that bastard :P

I've been growing my eyebrows for awhile and they never grow evenly one grows faster than the other and all in different places. So I was wondering if there are any good eyebrow brands that have some nice eyebrow fill ins? I saw some at sallys beauty supply but the shape was ugly I was wondering if any company makes other shapes?

^Do you mean eyebrow stencils? I know Anastasia (the famous eyebrow stylist to the stars) sells 5 shapes for $20 at Sephora. I've never tried them myself though so I can't comment on their quality.

Here we have Tokia , make up compagnie specialist in eyebrows , they have a lot of stencils and other stuff... you can probably check it online

Just wanted some kind of general consensus on this, but... what are your opinions on guys that pluck their eyebrows?

(Obviously having it overdone is ridiculous, but even a little bit of plucking is obvious in men... at least in my eyes, haha)

I've never plucked my eyebrows, but recently I've began wondering about it.
