Watch Brandon Flowers and the boys' cover of Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun from a gig of theirs in the U.K. this past weekend!

In a bid to make a little extra cha-ching this holiday season, Island Def Jam is pushing up and off-cycle the release date of The Killers' Day & Age, Ludacris' Theater of the Mind, and Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak.
The albums were scheduled for release in both physical and digital formats on Tuesday November 25th, but they will now be seeing a Monday the 24th street date.
Each album has already proved promising, with a single in the top 40s. Kanye West's Love Lockdown hit #3 on the Hot 100, The Killers' Human scored #6 on Billboard's Modern Rock, and Ludacris' One More Drink with T-Pain is a not-too-shabby #34 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Me too! OMGI just fell out of my seat

You exist in a unique zone of cool—between mainstream pop and indie cred. How did you carve out that space?
It’s been over a decade since a band could be both big and sophisticated. I’m humble and I’m thankful, but I want to be better than everybody else. I call [the indie mentality] “bull**** modesty.” They act like you have to be a wounded kid to be an artist.
So your position is more honest?
I’m telling you what I feel. I want to be better than you.
