The Last Magazine #23 F/W 2019.20 : Binx Walton by Dan Martensen

People wax lyrical about Binx on this site but I swear I've never seen her pull a single facial expression...not uncommon these days but considering the amount of flack other girls catch for it it hardly seems fair.

Boring but beautiful image

I love Binx. I think she brings attitude! She is not the best model but she is very charismatic....
In the trend of models « standing there and doing absolutely nothing » she is the best.

I was just going through Burberry’s collection this morning and was reminded how badass this outfit is. I like the image but Binx looks bored.

Her career is mind boggling to me because she is so boring. She doesn't bring anything to the table yet she's still here. It's covers like this why I have lost almost all of my interest in fashion magazines.

Lol, I just like her because her look is so cool. But that's sort of where it ends really. Lameka on the other hand is as gorgeous, but the variety of her bookings allow her to show range (have I phrased it correctly, @Phuel ? :innocent:)

I wish she'd do a bigger variety of shoots so that we can see a different side to her. As it is this cover is deja-vu. We've seen it countless times before.

Agreed. Incredible runway model with great attitude.

Her POP cover with Juergen Teller was her best yet - standing there and doing absolutely nothing but being BINX. She is major.

On a cold Monday morning, scrolling through a mundane page about a very mundane magazine and suddenly I’m stopped in my tracks. There he is; Lewak. Once again driving the conversation towards Pop. What amuses me most is he only ever appears when the new issue is out. Guess Pop needs all the publicity it can get. Not that posting on a page about the Last Magazine would help. This magazine is woefully insignificant and that’s being kind. It offers nothing and merely serves as a vehicle for who and what? At least in Lewaks defense, pop has a purpose. TLM is so so mediocre. 23 issues in, is it really necessary to make a 24th? I’ve read countless articles about the death of print publishing, but they don’t seem to be helping cull the truly pointless mags, of which this is one.

For me, Binx is the sort of model where I don't mind seeing her, but usually I just turn the page to get to something more interesting.

I don't care about "cool", I'm buying magazines to see content that makes a connection to me. Content that either speaks to my own tastes, or content that's trying to take me out of my comfort zone. Standing there with a uninspired expression doesn't cut it. Well, not unless you are blessed with bone structure from the same God that gave us Christy Turlington.

But I understand fashion's need to always have certain people filling the cool slot, hanging around on the pages of fashion magazines, looking like they couldn't care less.

REALLY don't like the styling here.... and wish they had captured more light in her face/her eyes. This looks more disconnected than disaffected.

Someone know where to buy this issue?...any help thanks...
