The Last Movie You Saw?

Vanity Fair. I give it a 6.5. The costumes, scenery, and some of the actors were just gorgeous!

6.5 out of what 10? I watched Sleepy Hallow tonight (Christina Ricci, Johnny Depp)
I screamed and covered my face! I don't like scary movies! lol! I prefer action really like oceans 11, the italian job, to catch a thief, etc..

How was that? My boyfriend wanted to see it.

My most recent theater movie was Garden State. Rented, Fargo...but I only saw 2/3 of it, the stupid dvd was scratched...

Quite a few...

Theatre:
The Village - I thought it was excellent, much different to how I thought it would be. I assumed it would be some crappy horror flick, but I liked the subtle twists - the girl who played Ivy was fantastic, and I adore Joaquin Phoenix.

DVD:
Prozac Nation - It was okay, but totally missed the point of the book, I thought. It's so bizarre turning someone's memoir into a film.

Monster - Extremely moving. Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci were incredible.

It's on my list. Along with the Aviator, when it comes out, the Motorcycle Diaries and A Very Long Engagement, with Audrey Tautou.
Last night I saw Bowling for Columbine.

Universal soldier

The reason: I saw it with my littlebrother. He's crazy about that kind of movies.

American Splendor was fantastic. I really liked it. It seemed though like they tried to make the characters more loveable than they really are in real life. But I definately recommend it.

A Christmas Story.... I love that movie- never fails to put me in a good mood.

what's up doc? with barbra streisand. she was absolutely adorable in that movie - it always makes me smile :)

Superfly. This movie rocked. I saw it s a kid and forgot how good it was. Great 70's fashion and and directed by Gordon Parks. It is worth seeing it again or for the first time. One of the great blaxploitation films if you could call it that actually.

The Lady Killers. Loved it, but a bit slow at times. But The Old lady and Tom Hanks made the movie.

Soul Plane.....Ok, I knew it would be bad, but it was one of the few movies I had not seen at the rental place.

I saw Wicker Park over the weekend. I really liked it! :P

Fahrenheit 9/11. I hated it. I thought it was horrible and when I had seen almost two hours of it I walked out. Michael Moore is too much! Seems like that the only one he likes is Michael Moore. A rebel without a good cause ... Bah!

Have you seen Bowling for Columbine yet? I detest Michael Moore as well (I think he's insanely obnoxious), but I actually thought the movie made some pretty good points. He's a decent filmaker, I think, if not a pleasant man.
One thing though, is that we do not leave our doors unlocked!

Fight Club, again.

I first saw it after reading the book, and was sorely disappointed, but after the second viewing, I came to appreciate it more.

Helena Bonham-Carter as Marla Singer.
