ADMIN EDIT**
And because people are sick to hear only sad news. I know that I'll always like Pete but every once in a while I cut myself from the news because my heart can't take it anymore.

Anyway some news from the libertines and the libs daily:

MORRISSEY: 'DOHERTY CAN'T COPE'

Former THE SMITHS frontman MORRISSEY has hit out at the way the British media trivialises BABYSHAMBLES frontman PETE DOHERTY's drug-taking.

Doherty - who is dating supermodel KATE MOSS - has been through several unsuccessful spells in rehab in a bid to beat addictions to crack cocaine and heroin, and Morrissey feels he should be helped, not encouraged.

The singer says, "I'm not sure he can cope. There's a desperation to him. I sense he's on thin ice.

"It's all very giggle-worthy for NME (British music magazine) to report two hours after a gig that he's in a crack house in Glasgow (Scotland) but I don't find that amusing."

Contact Music.

I :heart::heart::heart: Moz.

From today's Guardian:

Most mums would be over the moon if their son announced they were dating a beautiful model. But when Mrs Doherty found out her boy Pete had fallen for Kate Moss, she feared the worst for the youngster's sartorial style. Opening her heart ahead of publication of her new book Pete Doherty: My Son, serialised in the Independent this week, she said: "The fashion world — you just don't know what kind of strange clobber they'll put you in." She poured scorn on Moss's sensational claim that Pete sometimes wears her skimpy briefs round the house. "They'd be too big for him. His hips are much slimmer than her hips!" Mrs Doherty said angel-faced Kate was a bad influence on poetry-raddled Pete, not the other way round as most people presume. Meanwhile in Ibiza, the boy
himself leapt nimble as a faun on stage and asked if anyone in the audience had a septum he could use to play his guitar.

:doh::doh::doh:

And some pics :

I'll try and use my dad's scanner when I go over to his... As for the other people who don't post, well more fool them! I have to say that though the bad news keep coming Jadee, it makes me want to keep checking on what's going on in Pete's world in case something dreadful has happened.

The NME are such twats I'm sorry. Also "thin ice"?!? So much for 'we aren't losing him". That is quite a terrifying thing for Morissey to say.

I know but honestly I think it's true. I totally agree with Moz.
And the NME is soooo irritating!

Oh I'm never totally cut off Pete's news but I can understand that people can get tired or too heartbroken to take it. We all cope differently.

Umm she's worried about his STYLE??? Can this be authentic reporting? When your son is always on the brown you don't want him to date Kate because of her style? I agree that Pete is better off without Kate but then there are other, seedier influences at play. Moreover I doubt his hips are slimmer that hers. He is about 8/9" taller than her.

A SEPTUM? That's horrendous. If he is joking about stuff like that, then he is still in denial about his disease.

Also as Morissey says, the press are really demonising him so people don't get to know him as an artist, they get to know him as a clown. That must keep the fanbase down in terms of numbers

Hmm I don't like the idea of his mother cashing on to his story.

And Pete seems indeed really in denial. It really striked me when I saw "Who the f**k is Pete Dohert" and "Stalking Pete Doherty".

You bought it! :shock:

Both documentaries can be downloaded for free on andrewkendall site.
I prefer "Who the ..." because Pete actually give an interview in it.
"Stalking Pete..." is still interesting to watch mind you .

I posted some screencaps here, scroll down to the bottom if you're interested:

Thanks for all of the pics everyone! THey are great, I didn't know that you could download them for FREE at Andrew Kendall's website, I will do that, in my opinion Who The ....... was better. I know this seems a little dramatic, but when Pete drew the heart on his chest with his blood, it made me cry, such a great guy, but he is so paranoid. I feel sorry for him, there is no one better!

ah! i'm going to a babyshambles gig on tuesday :woot: - just thought i'd let you know. i plan on steeling his clothes

OMG! You lucky devil, I so wish I was you! I want to go, is that at Brixton? I WANT TO GO!! I cant believe there are still tickets unsold, I would buy one if I could!

that pic says:
"im heartbroken. Id rather be raped ten times than go through all that again. It burns me."

He's such a true Poet and romantic.

Espescially when you use substances- chances are that youre super-sensetive and using those things to cope with those feeelings that you feel much more compared to others.

^You are sooooo right! I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM I LOVE HIM! I don't understand the monsters that dont!
