Thanks, I love that picture! Anyone heard Albion, one of my favourite song, I also like Backboy Lane, great lyrics to both. Everyone seems to think that Pete's writing abilities have gone down hill, I personally don't think that, what about everyone else?

Babyshambles - Album Release Date / Pete Married?



This week's first Babyshambles stories include a newly promised release date for the album and numerous reports that Pete n' Kate have tied the knot.



First (i.e. vaguely factual) things first. After too many delays to mention, Babyshambles debut album has ben given a new release day of October 10 and is rumoured to be entitled 'Up The Morning'.

The album will be released on Rough Trade, has the catalog number RTRADCD240 and alongside the known tracks such as ‘Wolfman’, ‘Gang Of Gin', ‘Sticks And Stones’ and ‘f*ck Forever’ (which reportedly features Moss on backing vocals) Doherty has recently recorded songs ‘Papashingles’, ‘Sweet By And By’, ‘Merry Go Round’ and ‘Why Did You Break My Heart? which may appear on the record.

Anyway, the today has seen the tabloid work themselves into a right frenzy as reports emerge that Pete Doherty has finally married his on/off girlfriend Kate Moss. The singer made the announcement to photographers outside the birthday party of Sadie Frost's three-year-old son Rudy.

According to various tabloids, Doherty held up his wedding finger to photographers and said, "You've missed it. This is not a rude gesture, I'm just showing you my ring."

It's believed that the ceremony took place last week and was followed by a huge party at the Dorchester Hotel (quelle surprise).

Then again, it could all be complete and utter balls.

wat infamous tattoo??? and also i have heard some people talk about how they think its despicable the way pete's hand is exposed, but how is it despicable????can somebody please explain why some fans didnt like the cover or the meaning behind it ???

I think people don't like the photo because it implies drug use, or more importantly heroin use. That might just be me though.
Oh, and the infamous tatoo is just their adorable 'libertine' one's.

I love those tatoos. Manuva is right, well about me anyway, that is why I don't like the album cover, and that it is not approved by all members of the band. Thanks for the pics Jade, he looks healthy!!!!!! HORAYYY!!!!!!!!

I for one really like this cover. It was a beautiful moment. Pete was free,reunited with Carl , everybody was happy and full of hope. Of course with hindsight it's sad but the moment it captured was beautiful.
