^^^ No one will care or remember Gisele when they see the supreme story “Hommes Objets”.
In lesser hands— and it usually are nowadays, the concept of fashion garments as objet d’art on a cast would be a predicable, pretentious eye-rolling hot mess. But Le Monde's fashion productions are always in such competent and great hands, it’s a concentrated visual feast, as simple as the compositions of the cast just “standing around” may be in "Hommes Objets".
Unfortunate that Le Monde only produces a single fashion story per issue. Then again, they’re a weekly offering, so it’s like 4 solid stories monthly. Us beggars in these fashion famine times can’t be choosers, and Le Monde’s fashion stories are superior feasts.
