The Most Beautiful Dress You've Ever Seen...

So beautiful in motion! :crush: I don't often care for Versace but I really like this.

oh i love that
and most of the dresses in the latest HC collection are incredibly beautiful

^ i agree, i really think versace's softer looks are stunning yet still sexy

I love that Versace dress! I sent it to my boyfriend a few hours ago to look at. It's absolutely stunning (and so were a few others from that collection.

I also loved Versace's 2008 Spring couture:

This red dress is fit for a goddess!

I don't get Versace couture. It's really simple and in couture less isn't more.

The one dress that made a lasting impact on me--beyond dresses that I will remember vaguely and later be unable to competently describe--was the companion Galliano to the dress Nicole Kidman wore to the '97 Oscars. This dress was cranberry silk with similar embroidery to Ms. Kidman's, slight Asian influence, cut on the bias, rounded "v" neckline. Both pieces were standouts and are still important a decade down the pike. Cannot find a pic of this.

^ A personal favorite of mine as well.

Fabulous, thanks so much for posting! It's been years since I've seen that. It may well be my favorite Galliano.

Do you remember the Vogue spread with this? In my mind's eye it seemed more of an eggplant or cranberry color, but somewhat darker than this one. Also, wasn't a breast somewhat exposed? I seem to recall wondering which celeb would wear it (no one, as it turned out) and how the dress would be altered to draw the silk up over the breast and reduce the exposed area.

I was sure some Hollywood A-lister would pick it up--but it didn't happen. I'm afraid living in LA makes one very geocentric and blinded by kleigs to whatever happens outside.

I preferred this dress to the acid apple (the neckline wasn't striking to me).

these from Blumarine FW08 are just

DandyWarhol - those dresses are FABULOUS!!! I love them all! Especially that one Suvi (one of my favorite model) is wearing. All the dresses are so light, soft and flowery - the three things I want in a dress.
((+ those shoes are gorgeous..))

Thanks for posting!
