The Most Hideous Dress You've Ever Seen...

This Jacket from Louis Vuttion looks like a big brown turd. Ugly colors, ugly details, and the studs...

^^^ I'm convinced Alessandro is trolling us all and LOL at some people's outrage.

The Moschino “garbage” dress is actually really well-executed. It’s not a piece that’s ever meant for the shops, so as a showpiece, and within the context of the classic Moschino philosophy and context, it totally works. Even with just a low-res pic, it’s clear the “garbage bag” skirt is a rich, creamy leather. And the “trash” top is really well done. It’s totally pure fun— unlike that plain fuddy-duddy Alaia monstrosity that looks like it’s made of dollar-store tissue paper. But it’s Alaia, and that’s all that matters so to many. That Vuitton jacket does look like the texture of sh*t after a diet of a lot of corn LOL

I actually don't hate the Vuitton jacket. I wouldn't wear it but i like it with the look!
That Alaia dress is weird. It really does look like a piece of fabric hold by the belt. The construction looks weird!
And while the fabric is light, it does really look like a curtain.

I've seen worse from Michele and at least, it looks well made. Judging by the success of Gucci, my only question is: who buys that?

to me, alot of the current Gucci, save for the casuals that we can wear daily, are just like that garbage Moschino dress, meant for the runway.
Seriously, how many of the outfit that Jared Leto wore to the cruise collections, for eg. are being sold? I doubt it.

Really? It looks like some faux punks got a hold of some upholstery leather and made a "cool" jacket. Plus it looks stiff and heavy.

^^
Yes! I don't know how to explain it. I find it kinda badass...Even if it's in a faux "cool" way.

Upholstery leather...stiff...heavy...and with those metal studs? Like furniture from my least favorite furniture store. (src: restorationhardware.com)

^Yep, that's pretty much the fashion equivalent of jumping right off the cliff. Wow.

Siriano's entire collection should be here. Ill fitting, trash fabrics, absolutely disastrous design. 80s gone way wrong.

i actually feel bad for the models who have to wear some of these monstrosities in public... let alone be photographed in them!
It's funny when you watch shows the really ugly dresses can sometimes slip through without you really noticing, but seeing them on this thread all at once is harrowing. How did half these 'designers' complete design school? the designers who founded these fashion houses must be rolling in their graves.

Those Siriano pieces are a disaster. I've always found his patternmaking skills to be basic as it's always kind of Draping 101.

And is that a spandex bodice on that ballgown?

Can you imagine how much worse they'd look on regular people? Monstrosities!

That hat in every picture... I can't find the words to describe its ugliness.
