Chanel gets worse and worse each season. Karl has lost it....

I was looking for some high quality Chanel FW 14 pics online to see the collection out of curiousity.

The first place I knew I would find it would be this thread

This thread always gain some new pages everytime a new Chanel collection is presented

Yikes, those Chanel pieces are atrocious. They look like something out an "unconventional material" challenge on Project Runway.

Honestly I don't understand the Chanel bias. It's cool, it's chic, it's got a story. That it ain't Coco? Well eat it.

I'm not really Karl's fan either but I think many people soccumb to hysteria just after the first look leaves the backstage.

I wouldn't call Chanel "cool, chic and with a story". Karls Chanel is a money-making machine with very little connection to its roots. I refuse to believe this is the best the legacy of Coco Chanel can be.

Agreed. Coco, above all, wanted to women to be chic but comfortable, relaxed but still uber-stylish. Karl .... not so much. He does have good clothing pieces from time to time, but I would never call anything he does in the vein of Coco.

I feel that Lagerfeld's Fendi is closer to Coco Chanel than Lagerfeld's Chanel. Ironic.
