The Music From Christian Dior Shows (PLEASE READ POST #1 FOR FULL SOUNDTRACK LISTS)

I have a music list of Dior RTW Fall 2002:flower:

Dior RTW Fall 2002
Traditional - EL Condor Pasa
Shakira - Whenever, Whenever
Africanism - Africanism
Ennio Morricone - Guarani
Missy Elliot feat. Eve - 4 My People
Pink - Get This Party Started
Prince - Rainbow Children
No Doubt - Hella Good
ABBA - Fernando
Traditional - EL Condor Pasa

^^I wouldn't get your hopes up if I were you....Jeremy Healy hasn't made an exciting Dior soundtrack in years.

Well I hated the last two couture show sountracks but I loved SS07 HC and I liked the SS08 RTW soundtrack, with Sting's song.

The last really amazing Dior-worthy soundtrack was (imo obviously) s/s 06 couture, mainly the first half with the Bible verses and Madonna in the background, fencing foils, whips....good stuff.

^^I agree. The pre-HC SS 06 soundtracks for both Dior and Galliano are totally enjoyable to listen to. I easily and happily listen to the entire 10+ minutes of the older Dior/ Galliano soundtracks. But the most recent ones...I don't even bother listening to 5 minutes of them if I even listen to them at all.

The receptionist at my job started singing this song, so therefore I have an addition to the Dior FW03 HC list.

So as far as FW 08/09 RTW the soundtrack was
Mrs. Robinson-Simon & Garfunkel
Son Of A Preacher Man-Dusty Springfield

What are the remaining tracks?

F/W 08/09

Mrs. Robinson-Simon & Garfunkel
Son Of A Preacher Man-Dusty Springfield
Say You Don't Mind-Colin Blunstone
Sea Lion Woman-Feist
Get Up, Get Out-Jamelia

we could have done without the terrible Colin Blunstone song and Get Up, Get Out...I guess Sea Lion Woman doesn't really fit either but I love Feist so I can't complain :)

It's sad how Dior/Healy/Galliano doesn't even have decent music anymore. Sure I love some of the songs, but there's no creativity infused into them. It's like they played their IPod's on shuffle instead making a decent mix like back in the day.

Dior Spring/Summer 2007
Christina Aguilera - Intro - Back To Basics
Have always always adored this short piece of music since it introduced my muse, Bruna Tenorio, to me, in the form of a pretty, if not very summery, grey dress with matching handbag and shoes and a Joan of Arc wig :)

I'm questioning whether it was there...It sounds like the part just before Beyonce's "Naughty Girl."

I'm pretty sure that song wasn't in the soundtrack, so let's scratch it of...

I was wondering, why don't we integrate the Galliano showmusic in this thread? Gives us a whole lot more to discuss! :D

ETA: Also, I am pretty sure Panjabi MC wasn;t part of the soundtrack either...here's the song:

Doesn't sound familiar at all and I listen to the FW 0304 soundtrack everyday on my iPod :ninja:
