I can't believe the shockingly amazing beat and flow of the old Dior shows compared to the drab repetetive crepe they have today..

^ I agree. Beyond the fact that Healy always used such incredibly random but fabulous music in the soundtracks, they were always so well edited. Now....not so much.

Since we're all reminiscing old Dior soundtracks, right now I'm totally obsessed with Haute Couture FW 04.

That show has a lot of gravity in my life (it's the show that introduced me to fashion, and in that respect, I owe everything to Galliano)...and I had forgotten how much I actually truly loved that collection. And the soundtrack is beyond fantastic. I mean...who woulda thought to mix baroque-esque Michael Nyman with Little Richard? Geniuses, of course!

What I love so much about all the Dior soundtracks, shows, collections, etc., etc., etc...is that they were all so cheeky (in a good way of course)! I mean...collections inspired by white trash with "Sweet Home Alabama" playing on the soundtrack mixed with sound excerpts from Jerry Springer?...brilliant.

Nowadays Dior is about as cheeky as...well...it's not.
