The New 90210

Liam and Annie actually seem to have good chemistry. That could turn into something good...

^Yeah, but I prefer Liam and Naomi, they are just too hot.

Can't wait for the Prom episode.

Annalynne seems to be the first one on the show who has really embraced the camp factor and is overacting to the extreme. Maybe because she was on Nip/Tuck she gets it a little better.

i need to see her on nip/tuck. a lot of ppl liked her from that and i'm not seeing it on 90210. she's not that great an actress on the show - the scene with her and annie when she was upset and holding annie's laptop was just embarrassing.

Naomi cutting the baby's head off the cake last night was hilarious! Annaylnne is so over the top...

I just want Naveed and Adrianna to have the baby
I'm not really interrested in the other characters plot to be honest.

I love the episode where Adrianna met Navid's family...I know what she's going through. My BF is Iranian too, and his father never thinks I eat enough  One person can only eat so much rice :D

I was never that into 90210, I just used to watch it regurarly to practise my listening skills but it actually grew on me! I think the last episode was fantastic, full of drama, I like the fact that it left a lot of questions in the air. That was exactly what was missing in Gossip Girl's finale. Nothing actually happened, that we wouldn't expect.

The final episode was superb. It really makes you want to watch more.

The word circling around is that Annie hit her brother, Dixon, but I don't know. I didn't even see anything...Naomi was such a douche the way she called her out though. I don't know how Annie would go from being a virgin to screwing her friend's boyfriend that fast...

and Naomi's sister is absolutely psychotic!

That would be interesting if Annie hit her brother, because there will be heaps of different reactions. I'm actually starting to like Annie again in these last episodes, I found her quite annoying during the series. I wonder if Liam is going to get back wih Naomi, or if its even possible. Too much wondering, I really can't wait for next season.

And yes I agree, Naomi's sister is totally psychotic.

I think Annie had better chemistry with Liam than Naomi...the scene that turned things around for Annie was when she was calling out Liam in that bar scene when they first met. But she'll probably be pretty messed up next season from everything that happened...

So I just finally caught up on the last 6 episodes of 90210 and have some thoughts:

- It is really obvious that they switched writers halfway through the season because storylines seem to be abandoned instantly/pop out of nowhere and characters had personality transplants. For instance, Silver shows the first signs of bipolar disorder in one episode (totally normal before that) and in the next, she's already off the edge. Annie and Ethan are so committed to each other, they want to wait to have sex at the right time, and 4 episodes later they break up. And where did the Ethan/Silver thing come from? And have they just abandoned the storyline where Annie and Naomi share a half brother? Maybe it's because there are several weeks in between episodes? In which case, there shouldn't be because it's like they left so much unresolved.

- Shenae (Annie) and Annalynn (Naomi) are NOT good actors. Especially when they are trying to portray anger. They are probably the weakest link on the show, with Jessica (Adrianna) being one of the strongest, besides the adults.

- If Liam's stepfather is so concerned with how Liam is doing in school (asking for his grades and extracurriculars), how did he not realize that Liam had not been in school when he was bartending?

- It did not seem in character for Liam to suddenly go from "just using Naomi for sex" to telling her his entire lifestory in one night. The thing is, there was no subtlety AT ALL. They should have drawn it out a bit so we could slowly see Naomi knocking all his walls down. Instead, we have Naomi complaining about how he only calls her up to have sex with her and then getting all excited because him asking her to prom is really the first sign she has that he cares for her. And that same night he spills his guts? Unbelievable.

- Speaking of Naomi, she is so annoying. I don't know if it is because of AnnaLynne's acting, but in every scene she seemed to desperate to win Liam's approval (which may be intended). Too desperate. Liam doesn't seem the type to like girls who change all their interests to match his.

- I'm going to miss Ethan. His character also did roller coasters throughout the season. He went from the bad boy who cheats on his girlfriend to the good boy who wants to do the right thing with sleeping with Annie to the bored boy who wants more out of his life. No wonder they thought his character had "run its course".

- There really should have been some followup to Kelly and Ryan's one night stand. An awkward morning after, some weird glances, a conversation... instead, the next episode, he asks Naomi's sister out on a date so we're like, "What? So that night didn't turn into anything more? Is one interested but the other not? Or did they both decide to leave it at one night and see other people?" And then we have to wait till the next episode to find that there's still something between them.

- The finale was good. Love that Naomi's sister is going to stick around and stir up more trouble. Annie's "accident" will also provide interesting material, as will Liam's "kidnapping". Can't wait to see what's in store for Adrianna now that the baby storyline is over. Hopefully next season will go a lot smoother and be better planned out since they won't be changing writers.

According to Zap2it, some new hot “90210″ spoilers have been unleashed. The first one is that Annie Wilson played by Shenae Grimes is in for some more rough times at West Beverly.
The whole school will now hate her,and then to make things worse, it’s reported that her own brother Dixon will also start avoiding her when the new season starts. That’s not all. Naomi is supposed to start a new scandal about her that’s really bad.
Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) might still be together at first, but it’s not going to last long. Dixon’s going to start dating an older woman who is a D.J. in her 20’s. She’s also obsessed with sports.
As for Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), her sister Jen (Sara Foster) is going to continue to manipulate the situation. She’s also going to visit Liam’s (Matt Lanter) mom and tell her that Liam has caused Naomi too much stress, and that he should keep his distance from her.
Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold) will be staying on “90210″ contrary to those “Melrose Place” crossover rumors that have been going around. He will also continue to fall for Naomi’s evil sister Jen.
Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Navid (Michael Steger) are still going to be together for the time being. He’s going to be jealous of the new tennis prodigy guy Teddy who joins the show. Navid is also going to start trying to get Naomi to sleep with him now that she’s not pregnant anymore, and it just might happen.

AnnaLynne Dishes on the New Season of 90210

We sat down with the beautiful star to talk about skincare (read our interview with her over on GlamBlush!), but we made sure to sneak in a question or two about her hit show, too! Here’s what AnnaLynne had to say about the new season of 90210!
What drama, love interests, etc. do we have to look forward to for Naomi?
For next season, Naomi is trying her best to get over Liam. He broke her heart but she’s not going to let the world know it! But then he shows up for the first day of school, and she’s crushed. She sees him and it all comes rushing back. The first scene of the premiere is really funny! She has fantasies, she’s trying to hit on any guy—but she has policies for guys. If her girlfriends have dated them, that’s a no go. In one case, one of her hopefuls is completely dashed because someone in her group has dated him before—it’s so cute. But with Naomi and Liam, you just feel this tension every time you see them—actually, Matt and I are like, “When are we going to get back together?! Come on!
But then, Naomi wants to go to college. Hilarious—it’s really a funny episode. She just thinks that of course she’ll go to college, and she’s going to go the college that she wants because it’s a “pretty college.” And, oh yeah, there’s this thing called grades! And tests! And she doesn’t really think about that, so it’s a funny episode where she’s trying to seduce the Dean’s son or something—it’s really a lot of fun.
Naomi is a lot less of a malicious b*tch this year. She’s still a b*tch, she’s still got her edge, but she’s just very honest. There’s actually a lot of humor now in the character, and I’ve had fun learning the comedy of it, because I haven’t really done a lot of comedies. I’ve had a lot of fun with it this year. There are a lot of juicy bits! She gets some good blackmail on Annie. She’s out for revenge, so she gets some juicy blackmail material in the first episode. A lot to look forward to in the premiere, actually.
Is it hard for you to get into the mindset of a 17-year-old girl?
You know, whenever I approach a character, I never look at age, because my whole life, I’ve consistently been judged by my age. I moved out at 15, and it was, “Oh, you’re such a baby!” I’ve had that whole, “You’re only 15, you don’t know anything,” and I think, “Actually, I probably know a bit more than you do!” But I’m not going to let onto that, I’ll just let my work speak for it.
But I definitely do not approach any character looking at their age, because every character is different. Naomi, in her case, she definitely has her head on her shoulders—more so than a lot of typical girls her age. So if I were to just approach her as a 17-year-old, that wouldn’t work.

For me, this year especially, I literally hang out with my sister. My younger sister is 20, and I get all my inspiration for Naomi from her. She loves her high end fashion, she loves her Louis Vuitton bags, she has her little purse dog—she’s the epitome of Naomi, and I channel it! I just hop right in there, and all of a sudden I catch myself sounding like Rachel! So Rachel, now she wants her commission, she wants her cut.
But I really don’t judge my characters—I make a point not to. That’s something that’s really important, I think, in taking on a character that’s obviously as different as Naomi is to me in my personal life. So it’s really not judging the character, age, background, etc. and just approaching it as her life. Everything she does it what she believes she must do in order to survive in the environment that she’s in.
And do you have any other projects coming up outside of 90210?
I do have a project for the hiatus that we’re working on—it’s very preliminary right now, but I’ll give you a little teaser! It would be a very kick-butt role for me, very opposite of Naomi and a lot closer to what I would really love to do in the future, as far as film is concerned. Guns, futuristic motorbikes, totally Angelina Jolie in Wanted—that kind of feel. Very badass. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for that. It would be totally different from what I’ve portrayed so far, and it’s a lot more where I’d love my film career to go. I love action flicks, I’m getting into martial arts training right now, and getting prepped. I don’t want to jinx anything and we’re knocking on wood that everything will go through!
