I just got the chance to catch up on 90210 and i must say that i am totally addicted!!! Can't wait for the next episodes! So happy Jen is finally out of the picture. Seriously. So Annoying And i am still rooting for a Dixon-Silver "reunion" They are so cute together and i really can't see her with Teddy! Also..I LOVE Ivy : "No, i don't hate her! I'm just afraid she gets brain demages by swallowing all that lipgloss!" How awesome is she?!

i wouldn't mind a dixon-silver reunion. i think silver and teddy together would be kind of weird for silver and adrianna's friendship. ivy really grew on me though... i liked her and liam. naomi annoys the crap out of me.

that's the day after Gossip Girl returns. I can't believe these three shows are coming back till then. I knew about GG but 90210 as well.

These two couples both have great on-screen chemistry. The guy who plays Dixon seems too juvenile and young for this show and it's a shame they can't write him out. The first season he worked because the show was more immature but now, not so much...

About Liam and Annie, again...Shenae had better chemistry with that actor from the start. How the producers didn't see that is bizarre...

After a little initial flurry in the figures the re-work of the 1990’s hit show 90210 came back with a bang, guaranteeing a ratings success for the CW network.

With a whole new cast of characters as well as cameos from old stalwarts, the brand new 90210 delivers all the bang for your buck and all the glorious bitchiness and backstabbing of the original.

The next season is set to air in the close future - a date has yet to be released by CW as they gear up to debut their new line-up - but don’t expect to see all your favorite characters when 90210 returns to the screens.

Jennie Garth has already announced that she won’t be renewing her role as Kelly Taylor on the the next season and now RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that one of the new characters will also be noticeably absent.

Veteran actor and past soap star, Rob Estes, who plays Harry Wilson the school principal, has abruptly and unexpectedly quit the show amongst rumors of contract negotiations falling short of the mark.

“The bottom line is that Rob won’t be on the show next season,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.“ The producers, the studio and Rob came to the conclusion together that his role had ran its course. There just wasn’t enough for Rob to do because the show is more about the kids.”

But going on to hint at the real reason for Rob quitting the show, the source continues, “Rob’s an expensive actor and wants to be challenged and it became increasingly clear that most of the penny lifting was going to the younger cast members of the show, who Rob adores. He’s absolutely leaving the show on good terms.”

But another source tells a slightly different story about Estes’ departure. “Rob’s not happy about it all,” the source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Basically they couldn’t agree on money and that’s all it comes down to."

“Rob’s an experienced actor and feels he deserves to be compensated accordingly, but the CW just want to cut costs and they want to reward all these young, hot, up and coming, and therefore cheaper, actors and actresses instead.

“Rob was loving working on the show and was really looking forward to continuing to do so. Plus, to be frank, he needs the money, this is going to hit him hard.”

Jennie Garth’s story seems to be a little different though, Randy James, Jenni Garth’s manager, tells RadarOnline.com, “Jennie never had a contract on the show. It was never our intention for her to go on as a series regular, nor was it theirs. She was just doing the show episode by episode."

“She came onto the show to help them re-launch it and I think that she enjoyed the time that she was on, and they feel she was valuable, but she wants to spend more time with her kids and pursue other projects. She has three young daughters and isn’t interested in that heavy of a workload at this point in her life."

“Saying she quit the show isn’t a fair way to put it because she was never under contract. When there was a storyline that she enjoyed and fit her schedule, she’d go on and do it. It was a very casual relationship. There were no contract or money disputes at all.”

It's insane. He's the dad. The only way for him to go is death so the mom can grive and then get them a new dad. When they say next season though do they mean Season 3 that will start in Sept/Oct or do they mean the second half of Season 2 that starts back in April. He can't just vanish like Ethan. He's the dad. The kids need parents. And who's gonna looks after Silver with Kelly gone. This is just too weird.

The chick that took over running it must have some problems aka she's a cow. This isn't the first person to leave and notice how there has been no mention at all of Brenda making another appearance. This is going to be interesting.

Oh and haha at “Rob’s an expensive actor and wants to be challenge". Sorry bb but your only options left are tv movies or maybe Melrose. Get over yourself.

Well... I remember reading a spoiler a while back that there would be a suicide with a cast regular. So maybe it would be him and that's how he would be written off? I know on Matt's twitter the other day he said the cast was doing a read-through of episode 21 yesterday... that means they only have (I assume) three more episodes to film - I know last season was 24 episodes. I would also assume this means Rob will not be back for season 3... I would think their contracts would take them through an entire season of work.

As far as Silver having no one to look after her, I was wondering about this very same thing. I can't remember if we knew much about her dad? It's also weird because Naomi lives by herself as well now that her and her sister's relationship has dissolved.

I don't think there has been any mention of Brenda coming back because with the new season they really wanted to get away from using the original cast members as to try and give the new show and the new cast their own identity seperate from what came before them. Which is why they probably never had Jennie under contract... they must feel the show can do well on it's own now, without help from the originals.

Is it March yet??? I really just want this show to hurry up and come back on I love it.

I actually like the adults being along side the teens in this show. It's proven to work as a format and could've worked here.

That's too bad about Rob Estes. I've always liked him as an actor and I thought he was great on 90210. I kind of fear they will make him hook up with Kelly because they've always hinted at them having feelings for each other and it would be easy to write both of them off then
