the minute I saw that print I recognized it from the 2008 show. Hell, I even remembered that Coco wore it.
It does seem like that whole pre-fall collection relied heavily on the archives, specifically NG's archives (as if anyone could work with AW's HA!). Maybe he's trying to establish his tenure as a continuation of a great line, which he feels is NG, rather than AW. And who can blame him.
^ I think you're missing the point of the thread. it may not be groundbreaking, but someone did it first before someone else. No need to look down on someone else's casual observation.

That baroque embroidery has been used a lot, I thought of Prada's Spring 2011 and Stella McCartney's Spring 2012 collections, but this jacket is SPOT ON. Great find!
sometimes I feel like there are up and coming stylists who once in a while just borrow from the archives hoping no one would notice. But then that's why this thread exists.
