To be fair, menswear brands are trending this coat packing thing right now. It's not just him for you to eyeroll.

well this is the first one i've seen as i don't really follow menswear outside the few designers i care about. had i seen others, i would've rolled my eyes as well. plus, alessandro michele is being held up as some sort of genius from (part) of the fashion press, so i feel entitled to rolling my eyes as much as i want. it looks exactly the same as the first one i've posted, save for the orange lining.

Honestly I don't think that's a big deal. Somebody told me short after Vetements did it, that, outdoor brands has been attaching straps in jackets before Helmut took it on the runway. It's not as if he invented it after all.
