The 'Outfit Look-Alikes' Thread

The sleeves just really struck me, as soon as I saw the Lanvin photos. You can't really tell, but the YSL shoulder is actually squared off, the Lanvin is round.

rodarte is a mixture of balenciaga bottoms and junya knits and shoes....bravo/Users/macuser/Desktop/00090m.jpg/Users/macuser/Desktop/00330m.jpg/Users/macuser/Desktop/00190m.jpg

the watanabe hairdos actually remind me of the coloured lacroix ss08 ones but stained in grey.

i think that the lace resemblances that have been done to chris kane in this and other threads are just a matter of fabric use. lace is just everywhere this season from prada to D&G, to chanel or givenchy.

the Junya hairdos reminds me Maison Martin Margiela AW95
it's pretty the same concept... though Junya W. hairstylist did something big and baloon-ish...

about Dior Couture things on hips, I'm not sure but think it refers to an old Dior dress by Christian himself around 49 ...

^ good one.

so many designers drew from that silhouette for Fall/Winter 08.

I think I like Manish Arora's version better. At least they got rid of those God-awful shoes.

^its fine. :D

This is not so much of a look-alike, but more of an item knockoff. I dont know if that is appropriate for this thread so feel free to delete. :flower:

This is no surprise since almost everyone knocked off this collection.

^^Well it's a good for regular people there can never in their lifetime afford a designer piece they adore, so they get to buy similer and much cheaper version, I have nothing against "knock offs" and I wouldn't even call them that, now a Fake garment I would.
